Self-contained one bedroom apartment - Kingston Foreshore on your doorstep

The ForeShore is a one-bedroom self-contained unit with NBN wifi. The unit is on an upper floor with easy access by lift. There is free off-street parking available at The ForeShore, as well as your own designated parking spot within the complex. Parking access instructions will be provided one your booking is confirmed.
Everything you require is contained in the unit. (All you need to bring is what you are going to eat and drink.)

The ForeShore is in a great location handy to galleries, restaurants, walks, bike tracks, markets and Lake Burley Griffin of which you have glimpses from your private balcony. It sits just opposite the Kingston Foreshore which has plenty of drinking and dining options suited to whatever you're in the mood for. It's got casual burgers and beers, Thai, Chinese, Italian, Indian, a Max Brenner, and plenty of bars so you can wash it all down.

The flat is in a fabulous area, close to a lovely walk around wetlands, as well as restaurants and markets. We used the balcony which was lovely and the kitchen and laundry were great. Just a few issues - the shower doesn't have a complete door, the water goes onto the bathroom floor but doesn't drain into the drain, so the floor gets really wet and has to be mopped away. The exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn't work and the blinds in the bedroom don't meet so the early morning sun streams in.

Good but little space in the apartment.

Our stay with two adults was good. However, the apartment appeared not to have been cleaned upon arrival. After contacting the landlord, this was done the same evening. Despite that, it could be cleaner. The apartment offers (too) little space to store your own belongings. The existing cupboards are locked with probably the owner's/resident's belongings.The apartment itself is not large, but it does have its own space in the underground garage.

Great apartment in a great location

The apartment was very well presented and comfortable with great cafes only a stroll away. The lack of wifi could have been a problem as Optus has poor coverage in the apartment, but as it was a long weekend didn't need to fire up the laptop for work, so not a problem in the end. Will definitely use the apartment again when wanting to stay in Canberra.

We enjoyed our trip to Canberra and all the facilities were as we expected. We had our bicycles with us and were able to cycle around Canberra and secure them safely near our car. The unit was great and comfortable, thank you.

Bedroom blinds blocked light on a cloudy day, but was bright on the sunny Sunday, although the bedrooms are blocked by surrounding apartments. Certainly wouldn’t pay the amount we did for the apartment.
