Charming Duplex Unit in the perfect location for your visit to Anchorage. Walking/biking distance or a 5 minute drive to Downtown Anchorage. Easy access to Anchorage's beautiful Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. 10 minute cab ride from the airport. We are surrounded by the some of the best restaurants in town. There is a Washer & Dryer with all the necessary laundry supplies. We know how important morning coffee is and are always sure to stock the cabinet with quality beans for every guest. This is a duplex property and my husband Ryan and I live next door. We respect and are inclusive to the BIPOC and the LGBTQIA2S+ community, all are welcome and safe here. In the summer you may see us gardening, having a bbq and sometimes processing our salmon catch if we’re lucky! Going fishing? We have a giant freezer in the back yard to store your fresh catch during your stay! This property provides a fenced outdoor space for guests to relax, you can have a fire, or BBQ right outside of your unit. We have a small Chicken coop (No Roosters) , a Corgi named Ulu and an Alaskan mixed pup named iluq. If you are interested in learning more about our hens, we would be happy to show you the coop. Tons of wild life right in our back yard. We have occasional visits from our neighborhood Moose, Cranes and other wildlife! If you are a birder, bring the binoculars because we’ve had many species visit the yard and the trails behind our place. Whether you are visiting from near or far, we hope you love Alaska as much as we do and we would love to have you as our guest.

Nice place, Great host

Simple place in anchorage, but the host is the gem here. Really kind, let our kids play in their yard and with their dogs. Made us feel at home.

We loved our stay at this duplex. It was spacious, clean, and in a great location. It was in a quiet neighborhood close to downtown, the Seward highway, hikes and parks. There is a beautiful trail just one block from the house that connects with the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. The owners, Casey and Ryan, were friendly and very helpful during our stay. If you’re staying in Anchorage, this is the place!

Great rental in perfect anchorage location

This rental was so comfortable and perfect for our stay! The location is superb - easy and quick to downtown and midtown, close to the airport. The amenities, snacks, comfy beds and space were so appreciated! The owners are wonderful and awesome communicators. This is SUCH a better place to stay than a hotel!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. After a long day of travel, we were pleasantly surprised with the guest gift that Casey left us. While there, we enjoyed conversation with Casey and her husband and some fresh eggs! It was also helpful to have a detachable shower head to wash my daughter's hair!

Awesome stay

Had a wonderful stay at Birdsongbandb! Casey has thought of everything that you might need during your stay! And they are right next door in case of anything else! It’s in a nice residential area with shops and restaurants just a few minutes drive away. It rained most of the time we were there, so we welcomed this nice cozy place to spend the time.

Very centrally located close to downtown and outdoor activities. Very comfortable. Casey was easy to communicate with. She provided many breakfast foods, milk in the fridge, lots of tea and coffee options, and a Brita pitcher of water in the fridge. Great place to stay!

Great location. Needs updates.

Communications between us and owners was great. Great location: close to downtown, walking trails, and playground. Living room was a nice area to relax, watch TV, bird watch, and listen to records. We are divided on the beds as some of us loved the squishy mattress’s and some thought a bit too soft. We felt the online pictures were a bit deceiving as the carpet was old, stained, and bit musty and the painted walls were in poor condition. We felt the front door lock was not very secure and bedroom blinds all have broken slats so neighbors can see inside even if they’re closed. Most of the outlets are very loose so be cautious plugging in electronics.

All around amazing in anchorage

I chose this property based on the reviews, pictures, and that the host and her husband made it a point to say ‘all are welcome here’ in their listing. Every part of our stay exceeded my expectations. The house was clean, had snacks (which were huge when we got in super late), and felt like home. The welcome binder was full of information and recommendations. The bed was insanely comfortable. There were bikes and helmets to use, and the location is literally a one minute ride from the awesome Anchorage waterfront trail system. Casey, her dogs, and her nephew were just lovely human beings and although brief, I felt like in our conversation I was talking to a friend I’d known for years. If we ever are fortunate enough to make it back to Alaska, I would be jump at the opportunity to stay here again. So many thanks!
