About this property

This totally modern and contemporary one bedroom basement suite comes fully equipped and provides serenity amidst the hustle and bustle of walnut grove. The suite is located on a one acre property that backs onto a green belt for the perfect get away.

The suite is a completely independent unit in the basement of our house. It has a separate entrance and is great for a weekend getaway or an extended stay.

You will have access to our property as well. We live on .9 of an acre. Our house is in a cul-de-sac but is very private and secluded and backs onto a green belt. You can spend the evening having a glass of wine in our adirondack chairs sitting beside our outdoor wood burning fireplace. It is a great setting!

About the host

Hosted by Darren & Juanita Rowell

Juanita and I are both educators (High School Teacher and Principal) with three kids, two of which are off at university. We love our house and its location in Walnut Grove. We are in a cul-de-sac which backs onto a greenbelt. It is beautiful, quiet and private. We are an extremely active family and there are great walking trails and nature walks along the Fraser River. Walnut Grove has all the amenities but remains a small town and we are 5 minutes away from Fort Langley which has trendy shops, restaurants and cafes. Our location is also a few minutes away from Highway #1 making very easy to get downtown Vancouver in only 40 minutes.

This is a fully functional suite in an upscale neighbourhood that provides all one needs for a stay but also a beautiful backyard on a greenbelt to enjoy a cup of coffee.
