The Magic Mist cabin is the perfect place for any type of getaway. From the Guy's fishing trip to Girls Getaway, Birthday Celebrations, Honeymoon or Anniversary Celebrations, Family time, or solitude - Whatever type of trip you are planning we are a great location. The cabin sits just steps from the Little Red River with a private fishing dock

There are many things to do in and around Heber Springs. Trout Fishing, National Trout Hatchery, numerous hiking trails, Greer's Ferry Lake (40,000 acre lake that feeds the river by the cabin), antique and boutique shopping, natural living caverns, Ozark Folk center, just to name a few. There are so many beautiful places to explore, the possibilities are endless.

The wonderful Magic Mist Cabin got the name from the misty fog that flows off the river and onto the banks _ that can only be described as Magic. You must experience it to appreciate it. The cabin is just steps from the river with access to our shared fishing dock. There are several outdoor seating areas to enjoy the magnificent peace of the area surrounded by the natural beauty of the property. Included is a large picnic table with a charcoal grill as well as a deck that is right over the bank of the river looking down to the fishing dock. The cabin also has a covered patio with dining table and chairs - the perfect place for a cup of coffee in the morning.

The Magic Mist Steampunk has an open floor plan with a comfortable queen bed furnished with all new linens, pillows and quilts - as well as a sofa bed that folds out to a full bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, oven/range, microwave, silverware, cooking utensils, a new coffee pot and new dish set.

The bathroom is an escape in itself with a large tub sitting next to a wall of glass cubes. The wall filters the light, which is great for the plants around the tub but still maintains privacy. There is also a stand-up corner shower. The towels and floor mats have recently been replaced with fluffy brightly colored ones.

Just Right

My husband and I stayed here for the eclipse and had a good experience being able to see it from the deck ( a few new leaves added interest to the view). The inside space is as well done and efficiently arranged as any 600 sf space I've been in. We were comfortable, bed and linens were all very good. Added benefit was watching an eagle's nest!

Riverside Bliss

Was a wonderful clean & neatly decorated cabin by the Little Red River and the private dock was great too. We cud fish for awhile & then go back to the cabin & relax...loved it!!

Perfect Location

My wife and I needed a small cabin to enjoy a quiet weekend to relax and also get some work done. This cabin met all of our needs and was a close walk to the river! Would stay here again!

Why they chose this property

We simply fell in love with this property the first time we stayed here. We wanted to share the magical space with others to be able to disconnect form the fast paced life and reconnect with the harmony and peace that is life on the river. We see it as our evolving, eclectic work of art. We are always adding to and changing the landscape of antiques and uniques scattered throughout the cabin.

What makes this property unique

My favorite part of staying in the cabin is drinking coffee on the patio in the morning watching from the enclosed patio the mist roll onto the banks as the water flows by.

Or if I am ambitious enough to get up before the sun, there is nothing quite as magnificent as a sunrise through the mist sitting down on the fishing dock. Whether the water is rushing with all the gates at the dam open, or slowly , lazily, passing by, the effect is the same - mesmerizing also with my cup of coffee, and my husband and two little fury children. The world that surrounds you fills with wonder as the sun rises above to begin a relaxing day on the river.
