Property was as described, communication with owner was very quick. Close to Universal Studios and several community areas for dining, drugstores, etc.
The place was clean, organized, and included a bottle of wine which was so sweet! Host had great communication and instructions for arriving were super clear.
I recently stayed at Dan's property in Orlando with my girlfriend, and overall, we had a great experience. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the location was convenient for visiting Universal Studios. Communication with the host was good, and we were able to check in and out smoothly. Overall, we would recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Orlando.
Was a great experience. It was laid out just as listed, Dan was available and descriptive on things. Lovely place that worked perfectly, and lovely family no doubt. Thanks again Dan!
This place was good for a two night pre cruise stay. Half of what you would pay staying at a hotel. A rental car is a must have for going anywhere. We just slept and showered here as we were out all day and brought takeout back. They provided a nice bottle of wine. I was disappointed that the bedding was not the nice white bedding pictured and was burgundy instead. A decent place to stay short term if you want to save on accommodations .
Staying at Dan’s place was just wonderful. We felt very comfortable, the bed is super plushy. The space is very quiet and very green outside full of trees and tropical vibe.It is located on a quiet street chest two minutes from the Universal Studios entrance as well as many other attractions within less than 10 minutes drive. We spent one day at Universal Parks and another day at Volcano Bay. Both of them were literally two minutes away.Everything inside was very clean. We celebrated a birthday and Dan left us a bottle of wine, which was so kind of him. The extra livingroom was wonderful made us feel at home and gave us extra space to run around. We had great time in Oralndo as well as in dans place and so we highly recommend it to others.
The host, Dan was easy to work with. He sent me clear and easy instructions for check in and when a problem came up, I messaged him and he was quick to reply. However, one thing I feel that needs to be addressed is the description of this unit. At the time of this review, it is listed as a cozy 1 bedroom guesthouse. This by no means is a guesthouse, that would mean it would have been a separate structure not attached to the main living house. What this unit actually is are 2 back bedrooms that are apart of the hosts actual home that he has blocked off from the remaining house with its own entrance. Had I known this up front, I would have never made the reservation. On returning from our first full day from the parks, it was late and cold. Florida was having a cold snap and the temps were down in the 40’s/ 30’s at night. Our unit was freezing with no access to a thermostat and the entire unit smelled of whatever they cooked for dinner that night. With all that being said, the unit was very clean and tidy. We had enough towels for the 3 of us and the bed was comfortable. The neighborhood was very nice and we felt safe.

Completely deceiving!!
When my husband and children arrived at the property, we immediately thought we must of typed in the wrong address. We had to park by the curb basically in the street and the property almost looked abandoned. The apartment had a terrible mildew type odor. We were so upset. We did not end up staying and had to spend more money on a hotel last minute. The owner was informed of our disappointment but basically said they understood if we decided to stay elsewhere without even offering any type of refund. I have booked tons of VRBO properties and I have never had this happen.
This spacious place is exactly as pictured and was perfect for my week in the area - way better than a hotel! Owner had great communication and the location is in a quiet area yet close to Universal and other conveniences. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend!
The property is a short distance (7-8 min car ride) from Universal Studios (but you can’t walk to it - you have to drive, because Orlando!!). The host (Dan) was very nice and answered all my questions. He was helpful and seemed to really want his guests to have a good stay.
I travelled to Orlando to go to Universal Studios for 3 days (4 nights) with my friend and my brother. We were looking for an affordable place to sleep that was near the theme parks.
Because there were 3 adults and two beds, I shared the queen bed (which was comfortable) with my friend and my brother took the futon (which had sheets and blankets provided for it). It worked out well for 3 adults, but I don't think it would be extremely comfortable for more than 3 adults. It is undeniably a small accommodation, as the pictures show.
It is also clean, has a convenient location near restaurants and shopping, and feels like it's in a safe neighborhood. Not only does the place have central air continuously on low, it also has a window unit in the bedroom to adjust the temperature to your preference. This was great after a long day of sunny theme parks.
Additionally, there are some basic kitchen items (silverware, plates, spoons) and a refrigerator, microwave, and an electric kettle for hot water. We chose to get breakfast items and eat before we went to the theme parks each day.
We were extremely happy to find this VRBO and would happily rent this unit again in the future.
If it is helpful for other potential guests, our ride to Universal Studios took about 9 minutes with traffic, with rideshare apps, and most rides cost between $8-10. A couple were closer to $15 due to high traffic departure times. We went to the theme parks all day and only commuted to the park and home each day.
My partner and I came to Orlando for a Universal Studios getaway. This place was just what we needed. inside it has two separate rooms, all very clean and seems like the furniture are all new. so was the shower newly renovated.
the house is located in a quite street on the other side of the lake from Universal Studios . so it took us 2 min to get to the parks. Parking was free so we actually left the car there and went with a 6$ uber to the park to avoid the parking charges. at night we went back again, its free to park after a certain hour to visit the entertainment options in the Universal CityWalk. Otherwise it was also easy access from international drive and Disney.
Check in was easy. we didn't meet the host but communication was great and overall we enjoyed very much. would love to come back again.
