Esplanade Elegant Estate has been recently restored and professionally decorated.

This amazing rental is situated in the extremely walkable Bayou St. John/City Park/Fairgrounds neighborhood. Located just two short blocks from the pedestrian entrance to the Jazz Fest, one block from regal tree-lined Esplanade Ave, with many restaurants and grocery stores.

This vivacious rental is 1.5 miles (7 mins by car) away from the French Quarter. You may take a 15 minute walk to the Carrolton/St. Charles Streetcar line (or walk one half block and ride the bus).

This stunning and Gorgeous apartment occupies the entire first floor of an historic home which has been fully remodeled. With 1700 sq ft of living space, this apartment comfortably sleeps our guests in a variety of versatile bed types . This home is considered a "Whole House" rental because it has it’s own independent entrance and shares no interior spaces with its sister unit upstairs. Esplanade Elegance also features 2 separate accesses with no shared space.

There are 12 foot ceilings throughout, Pocket Doors, and hardwood floors. Each Bedroom has a TV. Net ROKU TVs, a Blu-ray DVD player, wifi through the house, Keyless Networked Locks and appliances using state of the art Z-wave technology, and local coffee.

Off Street parking is included for two cars parked on a slant. Also, there is also usually ample parking on both the Lepage and Dupre sides of this corner house.

Drop your suitcase and walk or take a bus (bus stop one half block away) or uber/taxi minutes to the French Quarter, Bourbon St., or downtown.

Relax and Refresh in the over-sized Shower Spa after you have grooved to Festival Favorites. Our Kitchen is fully equipped and only requires ingredients purchased to try your hand at cooking some Traditional New Orleans Cuisine. Groceries and four great restaurants are in walking distance (2 blocks) from the apartment.

All linens and towels are included in this unit, as well as cookware and dishes/utensils. This apartment is truly ready to be ENJOYED as a home base for your Festival adventure!

The patio area includes a large and beautiful newly built deck.

If you need to catch up on business, or cruise the internet, utilize the free high speed WIFI.

Additional features include: free on-site washer/dryer and central air and heat.

There is no reservation deposit but there is a $400 Utilities Fee for all stays 30 Days plus. Renters are responsible for utilities used above the fee. This fee will be collected before check-in.

We stayed at this lovely ocation for a friends weekend getaway and it was perfect. The house is beautifully decorated and everyone was happy with the ammenities. We got a chance to meet the owner and he was very nice and welcoming. I would definitely stay hete again while visiting one of my favorite cities.

We really enjoyed our stay in this Verbo. Plenty of room for all 8 of us to spread out and relax. We used the front porch every day soaking in the sun. We were all in NOLA for my daughters wedding. Having 3 bathrooms was very helpful. Love the neighborhood , little markets and great restaurants in walking distance. We walked to City Park a few times. Always a must when we visit this city.

The property was very nice, spacious and in a great location. The neighbors were very nice and welcoming. However the bed in the first room needs to be replaced. It was sunken in the middle so if you hv any kind of neck or back injury DO NOT sleep in tht first room. Besides the bed in the first room I would recommend!!!!

We stayed her for 6 days. We had plenty of bedrooms, ample bathrooms and great common space. Although we did not cook, the kitchen was well appointed. There were plenty of towels and the bed linens were great. TVs in almost every room. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning and early evening. There was a footed tub which serves as a shower. It is best used by young guests. The other 2 showers were fine for those less nimble.

Wonderfully old home!

We visited New Orleans for the 2025 college football playoff game at the Sugar Bowl. I chose this home because of its size and historic charm. We had a hiccup on arrival. Within minutes of our designated check in I received a call stating that the house was not cleaned after the previous stay and that they needed time to do so. We simply adjusted our plans and went to dinner with our son before going to the house. Our host graciously voided our cleaning fee. Upon arrival the home was exactly as portrayed....and very clean. The home is old and has a ton of character. Coffee houses, restaurants and a market is within walking distance. Be advised that the second floor and the first floor are two separate units. Neighbors are friendly and parking is available on the street. We enjoyed our stay so much that we requested add an additional day and our host responded quickly. I would definitely stay here again!

Would 1000% do it again

We came to NOLA for a bachelorette trip and Wayne was the best point of contact always providing excellent response time. The property itself was extremely comfortable for a group of 9 women and everyone was able to sleep, lounge and get ready with ease. When booking I didn’t realize that the booking was only for the lower level of the home, but after reading reviews I had a similar experience where that didn’t cause any issues and the neighbors upstairs were very friendly. The property’s proximity to where we needed to go during our time in NOLA can’t be matched and was super convenient. There was enough towels for everyone and was in perfect walking distance to a local coffee shop and nice restaurants for lunch. Long story short, if you’re thinking about booking this property for a large group, do it. You won’t be disappointed and if I ever come back to NOLA with a large group, this property will be at the top of my list

Beautiful home

Loved everything about this house from the minute we walked in the door, and felt right at home. It was beautifully and tastefully decorated. Let me start by saying I was thoroughly impressed with how clean, and I mean spotless, this place was. Lots of towels, clean and comfortable bedrooms and a great kitchen with plenty of dishes for our group of 12. We were able to eat breakfast in and take in some local restaurants for lunch and or dinner. Located in a nice neighborhood and a 10-15 lovely walk to the streetcar. Wait until you see the house from the outside at night....magical. I cannot say enough about the property manager. She very nice to deal with and we had great communication before, during and after our stay. When we first got there we were pleasantly surprised to find a nice gift bag with some local goodies. I would , without hesitation recommend Lepage Maison 1 to anyone looking to visit New Orleans.

Fabulous Girls Getaway Weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at the Lepage Mansion. It was a total of 11 of ladies and we all had enough space to bunk separately. The home had lots of upgrades including Smart TV's, ample towels and outdoor spaces. It was only a stones throw away from the French quarter which by Uber or Lyft was a piece of cake. We spent our first night there roaming the neighborhood restaurants such as Santa Fe, Half Shell and Bayou Breakfast which all amazing! The only complaints that I heard amongst the ladies as we were getting ready for an outing was that there were no full length mirrors in the home (which should be an easy fix), also there was a car being worked on in the front of the home which was unsightly but we made the best of it. Overall I would definitely stay here again and again! The property manager Lashaunda was awesome and we met the owner who enlightened us on the history of the home. We were super appreciative of the accommodations. Thanks again!

My group stayed here for just over a week for a work trip. Overall, we were able to make it work. We made the space as comfy as we could, and enjoyed the breezy porch. The location is great. But I wanted to leave a review for future travelers. The pictures in the listing seem touched up. The house is older than looks in the photos. There were musty smells through the house. The bed in BR 1 (red & zebra) was very sunken in. The house seemed cleaned but not thoroughly — the floors were dirty when wiped, we found short hairs (shaving clippings) in a bathroom sink, and the floor of the "shower spa" had a greasy feel to it. From the pictures, it may seem like you have the entire house, but this unit is just on the first floor.The kitchen needed some things (salad/mixing bowl, large pan, dish rack since the dishwasher is tiny). The property manager was really responsive, and immediately brought things over, which we appreciated. Even so, we bought some items, such as hand soaps for the kitchen sinks, extra dish towels, etc.There were logistical issues that came up. Toward the end of our stay, a party of 8 was in the unit upstairs. They were given the code for our unit instead of theirs, and a large man entered our unit around 11pm. When asked, the property manager said our code couldn't be changed immediately. That same party used the parking space on the driveway that we were told was ours. We asked the property manager if they could leave us our space, but nothing changed.

Best Bachelorette Party Stay!

This house was absolutely stunning and comfortably fit all 11 of us for a bachelorette weekend. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the rides to Bourbon Street/French Quarter were about 15 mins with traffic. All of us had our own beds to sleep in and they had enough extra blankets and towels for everyone. This place is a must have for large groups. We spent the last night in watching a movie in the living area, so FUN!

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic we have teamed up with our third-party cleaning service to develop a very stringent cleaning protocol. Our plan includes personal protection guidelines and upgraded housekeeping cleaning products to kill the mandated 99.9% of Germs, Viruses and Bacteria.
Personal Protection
• Operations personnel and housekeeper’s temperature is frequently checked for fever and required to stay at home if fever is 100.4% or higher and feeling Ill.
• Operation Personnel is required to wear recommended personal protection and maintain 6ft social distancing guidelines. Masks, Gloves and shoe covers are worn at all times while servicing the unit. All employees have been trained on cross contamination procedures as new Personal protection wear is changed between servicing other units.
Prevention
• Housekeeping uses high grade cleaning products approved to kill 99% of Germs, Viruses and Bacteria.
• Housekeepers now use a more enhanced cleaning procedure targeting “High Touched” areas including Doorknobs, Light switches, electronic knobs and remotes, kitchen appliances/ Handles and bathroom fixtures/ faucets etc.
• Disinfectant spray applied to all hard surfaces and furniture after through cleaning.
We are committed to ensuring the safety of everyone involved. These necessary precautions also ensure you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay in a fresh and clean environment.
