Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Welcoming accommodations. Plenty of space for our group of 9 with 5 children. This house made us feel at home. Loved the fire and the grill. Even had plenty of yard space for our dogs. Jody Was very responsive with any concerns as we locked ourselves out and they came right away and very friendly at that. We definitely will stay again in the future.

Sometimes you just get disappointed

Upon arrival there was a strong sewer smell in the house. We noticed several wasps that had accumulated around the entry. Broken windows or glass was noticed and bugs were found in the bed. The water in the toilet was brown so we ran the water for a while to try to clear it up. The water in all faucets had an older as well. We contacted home away to see if they had a different place for us to stay they indicated they did not. The first night we pulled the cover back on the bed and there were bugs. So we slept in the chairs. The next day we moved to a motel and stayed there. HomeAway credited my account back some of the total amount. So My family had to incur the loss of the remaining money to stay in a place that was not fit to stay in. I won't use them again

Additionally, there was a spider in the bed, but no bed bugs. We'd like to clarify that the owner went above and beyond to fully compensate you for the inconvenience this caused and regret if the measures taken were not satisfactory to you. Quaint, Quiet Cabin in the Woods

The property is very wooded, a nice fire pit, big lawn (this was important for us as we brought dogs). House was well stocked and comfortable.
