About this property
Your vacation expectations become reality at Pines and Needles Cabin 30 day rent
Thirty day rental, long term
Modern remodeled cabin in a quiet small community, only 6 miles to downtown Prescott. Pick up groceries, order in or visit downtown.
All new everything! We added a beautiful unique vaulted ceiling to the new upstairs bathroom. Features a deep soaking tub. Vanity with marble top. Unique flooring and modern lighting.
Kitchen may be small but it is mighty! Microwave drawer, dishwasher drawer, small electric range that does a fine job. Refrigerator that is just the perfect size for your stay. Unique cork counter tops. Lower pantry cabinet.
The downstairs offers a full bathroom has been reconfigured to accommodate a washer/dryer and a good size walk in shower!
Our cabin sits on 1/3 of an acre. Ponderosa Park Homestead was established in 1888. It is a close knit community with great roads, tall whispering pines nestled amongst green mossy boulders. It is only 6-7 miles from Whiskey Row, downtown Prescott, yet you feel like you're in Tahoe! Folks have a misconception of AZ or Prescott. They think we are HOT, flat and sandy. We are at 5400 ft elevation. Four seasons. Snow at times in the winter. Monsoons in the summer! Colorful fall season. Our summer nights get cool, with summer highs mild compare to Phoenix. Our cabin is small and quaint with a wood burning stove.
Wildlife is abundant. Make your stay a memorable one, quiet with a good book or take a day trip to the South Rim at the Grand Canyon. We recommend the El Tovar restaurant for a meal and views of the Canyon.
Our favorite pizza is Bill's. On Cortez and Gurley. Off the beaten path is Nick's feed your face sandwiches. Grab a sandwich to go or eat at one of their small tables. Closed on weekends.

About the host
Hosted by Mary Ann Beck

We purchased this small cabin in 2018. We are experienced Hosts with other vacation rentals under our belts. We live in the Prescott area and feel blessed that we get to call this home. When we moved here we were seeking a city that felt like a close-knit community. Small town USA. Prescott delivers that. Mary Ann had a retail shop in town where she taught furniture painting class and had decor items. Steve joined the HOG chapter and was their Secretary for 2 years. Mary Ann retired from the California Highway Patrol and Steve did his 20 in the Navy and then went into the medical-field for another 15 years. We are very hands on owners. We wish you only the best experience when you stay at Pines and Needles Cabin
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this small cabin as soon as we saw it. It is small with plenty of room to relax, cook and just get away from it all.
The air is clean and the mornings are cool. The stars are amazing. This is why the outside lights are turned off, so you can enjoy the milky-way! The lot is on a 3rd of an acre. Our neighbors are quiet and we like the small community. Close to town with just a short drive to all that Prescott has to offer.
One of projects on our list is to make the outdoor building a bunkhouse. I can't wait to get in there and make it a useable space for our guests. The large porch is an added bonus. Has electricity and lights. Large dining area and a relaxing sitting space.

What makes this property unique
Unique, updated, modern open concept cabin
Feels as if you are miles and miles from Whiskey Row, when in reality you are less than 7 miles on a beautiful pine tree lined road.
Small enough to feel cozy yet with the large screened in porch to sit and read a book, candle lite dinners or a place to gather for conversation and rejuvenation.
