About this property
Harlow Bishop House, Best Location in town, hot tub, deck, brook
Stay in a beautifully renovated historic home, built over 250 years ago, located directly on the scenic Town Brook walking paths. Next door you’ll find one of the oldest homes in North America, the Gristmill, Burial Hill, duck pond, and guided tours. Just a short walk brings you to the waterfront, downtown shops, restaurants, and attractions.
The home offers modern comfort with fresh linens, comfortable beds, multiple living spaces, Smart HDTVs, and a year-round hot tub overlooking the park. Guests also enjoy decks with peaceful views and a private backyard.
Nearby Pool Access: The John Carver Inn & Spa is across the street and offers a year-round indoor pool and water park. Day passes may be available directly through the hotel (not included with this rental). Please confirm availability with the hotel.
Sleeping Arrangements: The home comfortably sleeps families and groups, with bunk areas in the walkout level and private bedrooms upstairs. Maximum adult occupancy is 12 due to the age of the home’s original post-and-beam structure. Additional children may be accommodated.

Second Floor: 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom, 1 Queen ensuite bedroom, 1 shared bathroom
Lower Walk-Out Level: Open bunk room with 3 bunk beds, Bedroom with twin-over-full bunk, Sitting area with daybed, French doors to enclosed sleeping space with white bunk and daybed, Full bath and second living room, Laundry room
Important Rules & Policies:
Absolutely no parties, events, or large gatherings—this is a historic home, not a party house.

Good Neighbor Policy strictly enforced with exterior security cameras.
All pets REQUIRE prior approval and a pet fee.
Parking limited to 4 off-street spaces.
Checkout procedures include starting laundry and dishwasher, stripping beds, and limiting trash to 2 bins. (Summer checkout time: 10 AM, June–Labor Day.)
This is more than a vacation rental—it’s a chance to stay at the heart of America’s earliest history, on the very brook where the Pilgrims built their village, forts, and met Squanto.

Minimum night stays may apply during peak times.
