Beautiful 6 bedroom, 5.5 bath home with a screened-in hot tub, pool table and firepit table in the gorgeous Galena Territory with a total of 4000 square feet of living space.. This home is perfect for enjoying Galena with your friends and family. The home boasts 4 en suite bedrooms, 3 king beds, 3 queen beds, and a twin bed (master on main level, 3 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 bedrooms on lower level). Bedrooms have a 32" smart TV. The large kitchen has 3 island bar stools and a table that seats 6. The dining room seats 8. There are 2 refrigerators. There is a deck and screened-in porch, a living room with flat-screen Smart TV on the main level and family room on the lower level with a 65" flat-screen Smart TV & DVD player. We have complimentary high-speed fiber internet perfect for streaming any of your subscriptions.

Rental includes 10 passes to the Galena Territory Association amenities which offer swimming, basketball, tennis, fitness center, fishing, boating, over 24 miles of trails and a game room. Sweet Escape is located 11 miles from downtown Galena and 13 miles from Chestnut Mountain.

Perfect Accomodation

We had a large group get together, the location to DT Galena was quick and easy, the home was large with plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub was a bonus! The owner was super responsive and so helpful. Would love to stay again in the future!

Post Christmas Getaway

Our extended family had a great stay at the Sweet Escape! Each adult couple had their own bedroom and bathroom and there were plenty of common spaces for playing games, watching TV, and doing puzzles. The hot tub was a bonus, as were the passes for the indoor pool and fitness center. Recommend this stay for large or small groups!

Family Thanksgiving

This was our fourth time staying! We love it in the late fall just as much as we do in the early summer. Enough space for older parents and three familes with adult and young adults to stay comfortably. Kitchen well stocked with the pans and things we needed to cook a large Thanksgiving dinner and house was clean! Perfect stay!

Birthday Weekend Getaway

We were very impressed with the property and appreciated the cleanliness of it. We had 14 adults (ages 23-28) stay and there was plenty of space to spread out. The 5.5 bathrooms was also a perk. The kitchen is stocked with most utensils and plates needed and the appliances were clean and easy to use. The washer and dryer came in handy when we went to Dittmar Farms on a rainy day but we still enjoyed ourselves! There was plenty of propane for the outdoor grill and spare tanks for use. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our time and our only complaint was only staying for the weekend!

We live in Dubuque, Iowa and come over frequently to this area to relax.
