This rental is located in close proximity to downtown Glen Arbor and Lake MI shoreline! Kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and dishes. Home had all the basic necessities for a comfortable stay. Owner was quick at responding. Would definitely stay again!!!
We all really enjoyed ourselves. Spacious kitchen and living area, comfortable beds,
Short walk to Glen Arbor. Easy drives to all that the area has to offer.
Another excellent stay at Andrew's place. Comfortable, clean and close to town. We walked to everything -- coffee, dinner, wine, sunrises, sunsets. We also had daily runs and bike rides on the Heritage Trail that started from our driveway. It is just the perfect perch from which to explore greater Glen Arbor and the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, which is why we keep coming back year after year.
Great home to spread out and relax in, walking distance to shops, surrounded by trees! We had a great view of a deer family walking right past the living room window.
Another wonderful week at Andrew’s magnificent home. The location so close to town can’t be beat. The wooded setting is serene & beautiful. And the house is immaculate and easily accommodated our large family. We will be back!
This house was perfect for a group of 6 people. We spent the week here and have nothing negative to stay. The house feels secluded yet it is a very short walk into town. We come up here every year with my fiancés entire family and this home has been the best yet. Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Upon entering we could smell the freshness of the cleaning that had just taken place prior to us arriving. Overall it was a great stay.
We had a lovely stay here. Just about a 6 minute walk to Glen Arbor. Very peaceful setting. Home was very clean and Andrew was easy to get ahold of when I had some questions. Plenty of space! Plenty of towels, soap, and dishes! My only suggestion for improvement would be to keep a few items stocked, such as coffee filters for the coffee maker, cooking oil or spray, and more aluminum foil/saran wrap. We loved our stay here and would love to stay again!
As always, Andrew is the perfect host. This is our third stay at his beautiful home and, as usual, it delivered in every way -- comfort, convenience and cleanliness. Our days started with walking our dog to the beach to watch the sunrise, followed by running on the Heritage Trail and coffee at Leelanau Roasting. Our evenings included dinner at Art's Tavern, followed by a relaxing nightcap at Glen Arbor Wines to listen to live music outdoors. Our days were filled with beaches, boating and wine tasting. When we were home, we kept up on the Olympics thanks to the complementary Hulu. The week flew by and Andrew's home provided the ideal base of operations. Can't wait to return!
We loved Arbor Pines and found it perfectly suited to our vacation with our adult children (all in their 20s), who grew up vacationing in Glen Arbor. We walked to town every day for morning coffee at Leelanau Roasting, shopping, dining at Art's and Western Grill and sunsets. We ran & biked on the Heritage Trail daily. We boated on Glen Lake. Visited the Ciccone Winery. Had dinner at the Riverside Inn in Leland. Grilled at home three nights on the easy-to-use gas grill. We had a fire & s'mores in the fire pit. Our kids dropped in and out throughout the week and there was plenty of room for everyone, including our Australian Shepherd Fiona, who loved the place. We particularly liked how secluded and quiet the neighborhood is, while the M-22 store and more is less than a 10-minute walk away. And while we were on-the-go a lot, we also watched the Olympics on your large TV in the living room every night. The vacation -- and the accommodations -- just couldn't have been any better.
If you love being close to downtown Glen Arbor, this is a perfect location. We walked to town twice a day and loved renting bikes, eating ice cream, going to restaurants, and wonderful shopping.
The construction was 2 years old, everything was new and in great shape. The kitchen was fabulous and well stocked! The fire pit was enjoyable and the owner supplied plenty of wood. The bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean. Overall, we would definitely come back!! Thank you!!
