About this property
ModernVillagePenthouse-Views Free Parking Hot tub!
Modern, clean, fresh and bright! Great views from our place are accompanied by the ideal combination of privacy and quiet. Only a 10 minute walk to the ski lifts! The inside is neat, tidy and uncluttered. We invested in a comfortable couch that can be folded out into a queen bed with a memory foam mattress to host extra guests in a pinch. The bedroom is spacious and simple with a pocket door to the spa like bathroom. We also have FREE parking across the street for the length of your stay. We have cable TV and WiFi too.
We've leased a parking spot under Marketplace just for you. Parking in Whistler can be a bit of a chore in the busier times. There is also parking under the Alpenglow for a daily fee of $18 which can fill up very quickly.
We provide a fully equipped kitchen with a great island for socializing, eating or working. You have access to the entire unit as well as all the amenities the building has to offer. These include a gym, pool and hot tub.
The Marketplace is only steps from our building and has everything you could need. There is a grocery store, liquor store, pharmacy, bank, a TON of restaurants for any time of day or appetite and of course lots of other shopping.
Next to the Marketplace is Whistler Olympic Plaza where the medals were presented during the 2010 Olympic Games. There is a free skating rink here so bring your skates! They also provide skate rentals and those handy contraptions that hold you up if you're not very skilled on the ice. There are also free concerts here in the summer and often fun activities for all ages.

About the host
Hosted by Victoria and Christian

oh, us?
We met skiing (our favorite pastime) a few years ago. Turns out we had all the same friends and had just missed each other over the 15 years that we'd both been in town. Christian went to UBC while Victoria was trying to take over the extreme skiing circuit. When she decided she'd never get rich doing that, she went to university and Christian finished up his degree and decided to try his hand at professional skiing.
After Victoria finished up her degree, she came rushing back to be a ski bum again (this place really draws you in). Another couple of seasons of just missing each other and poof! We finally met one another properly in 2011. After much discussion Victoria decided that Christian wasn't like the other Peter Pan types in Whistler. He had goals and investments and ambition! Christian must have seen the same in Victoria. We have the same passions, equal love of the outdoors, LOTS of energy and matched life goals. Life goals such as surfing, travelling, being outside, skiing and smiling along with keeping productive and always building our future together.
November 18th 2015 we had our first child, a son! He will be so thrilled to grow up here and have all the fun we've had. We will be sure he doesn't become another Peter Pan!
Enough about that, we are very friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and kind people who want you to have the best trip possible. Do not hesitate to ask for help!

Why they chose this property
This property is ideal for people to come and enjoy what Whistler has to offer. It is in a convenient location that will never be loud from the late night clubs or busy areas in town. You can access everything in Whistler village on foot from our location but if it's snowing, raining or you are wearing those awesome heels, there are shuttles and taxis anytime of day.
You have a quiet private space with bright light and great views with a hot tub and gym just downstairs. You can see Whistler and Blackcomb from #502 and can reminisce on which runs you flew down during the day. After dark, you can meander the village or sit in front of the fireplace and watch a movie all cozy on the couch.

What makes this property unique
We looooove the bright light streaming into our space. Whistler has many spaces but not a lot with great exposure and natural light. After living here for 15 years, we have an enormous appreciation for natural light in our living space. Not only that, there's a view!!
We also really like the beautiful island as we find it very useful and an excellent place to socialize or get work done (whether it's cooking or real life work). Who can deny a a nice hot shower under a rain style shower head after a long day on the slopes? Not us, we love that too.
