Family Friendly 2-BR @ Resort with Tiki Bar + 2 Pools! 0.5m from beach!

***PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!*** Perdido Key and the entire Purple Parrot Resort were hit by Hurricane Sally in September 2020. We have all new carpet, tile, paint, kitchen cabinets, countertops, bathroom vanities, etc. Please note: 95% of construction is completed. There are still a few "punch-list" items yet to be completed that are purely superficial (caulking of baseboards, etc). Both the indoor and outdoor pools are open and fully operational!

Welcome to our hidden gem! Perdido Key has been one of our favorite vacation spots for years! Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to local attractions. Within walking distance of the beautiful Johnson Beach and Big Lagoon Bay, and driving distance of Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Pensacola Beach, historic downtown Pensacola, our Caribbean-themed villa is centrally located so you can enjoy the best of the panhandle. We hope you enjoy your stay at our little piece of paradise!

This Purple Parrot Village Resort Two Bedroom Villa has been stunningly decorated and has a lively Caribbean feel from the moment you step inside! The villa has a king bed with flat screened TV in the master bedroom, a queen bed and a twin bed in the newly updated second bedroom and both bedrooms have their own en suite bathroom to give the feel of two master suites. The condo has also been equipped with a secure high-speed wireless internet connection, a screened in deck on the lower level and open-air full deck on the upper level, as well as a small balcony accessible through the Queen bedroom. Both bedrooms have their own television with full access to cable.

The Key was discovered by the Spanish in the 15th century and literally translates as "Lost Island." Sixty-five percent of Perdido Key, Florida is protected from development by state and federal parks. The Purple Parrot Village Resort features Caribbean themed villas, a lagoon pool surrounded by palm trees, continuous waterfall cave and surrounds a bridge-accessible island hot tub. For rainy days, utilize the heated indoor pool, hot tub, gym, and saunas. The on-site Tiki Bar features nightly music and a delicious menu. Johnson Beach - part of the federal national seashore - is a short two minute drive from the Purple Parrot Village Resort, allowing access to some of the most magnificent white sand beaches in the world.

we stayed for 3 days - great property and great hosts. The kitchen was well stocked, the bedroom sizes were great and the bathrooms were all well maintained. The public beach access is walkable- bring a beach buggy:) - But the pools on site are fantastic as well and literally steps away.

Spacious and welcoming. Property was as advertised and purple parrot amenities were an added bonus. Large dining room table allowed us to all eat together and play board games. Bedrooms wear large and each have their own bath. Would definitely stay again. Close to NAS for navy families.

This property had absolutely EVERYTHING we needed. We enjoy cooking and there was NOTHING that we needed to “bring” (crockpot, waffle iron, great quality cookware, keurig and regular coffee maker). This is one of the best we’ve stayed in so far in 4yrs. And, we’d definitely recommend it.

The house was really clean. The pool was nice and the kids enjoyed the live music every night. The property was close to Johnson Beach which was really nice and had clean facilities. The only negative thing that I have to say about the property is how close the homes are together. At 3am we could hear people partying and they woke us up multiple times. But other than that this home was perfect!

upon entering the home, it had a smell to it. The couch was not a pull out as I thought it was and the freezer was so iced up you couldn't use the freezer. Overall, it was a beautiful home, and the kids had a great time in the pool. Very short ride to the beach. I didn't like that it was behind the other homes and when being on the porch all you can see was the home in front of you.

Everything I hoped it would be

My family had an absolutely wonderful stay at Latitude Adjustment. The description of the property was spot on. It had everything we needed from toiletries to towels to kitchenware. Very quiet neighborhood. The outdoor pool and hot tub were great and that tiki bar was rocking every night! Loved the screened in porch downstairs and the deck upstairs.. perfect for morning coffee or an evening cocktail! The walk to the beach was quick and easy. By far my favorite vacation home so far and couldn't have been happier with our stay. My only small small nitpick would be to have better lighting around the house numbers only because we arrived in the evening and it was difficult to see the numbers from the road. But we found it without too many trips around the neighborhood. All in all, I hope to stay here again in the summer when we come back to Florida! Thank you for allowing us to call your home ours for a while. The memories will last a lifetime!

The home was nice enough. We enjoyed the pool and the home. However there was construction directly in front of our home that began around 8 and didn’t finish until 5pm two days in a row. I wish that the beach was closer. It was not walking distance at all.

Absolutely loved the resort with all of the individual condos. Liked that it is a gated community and we all felt safe letting our kids walk around to the pool, etc.. We were there with many other families for a softball tournament (each family rented their own condo and it worked out GREAT). Loved the pool, location, tiki bar, proximity to Johnson Beach....only problem was washer and dryer didn't work and new ones were supposed to be delivered two days into a 5 day trip and were never delivered. No offer of any compensation from the owner or even an offer to check out late so that we could do laundry at a friends condo before we left. So, very disappointed about the laundry situation. If we had actually gotten to play more than 2 softball games (due to rain outs), it would have been an even bigger deal, but as it worked out, it was bearable. Outside of that, the condo was great, loved the area and location, etc. I would love to stay here again!

Our family has enjoyed vacations to Perdido Key for the past two decades, and we are so excited to provide you the opportunity to stay at our favorite spot on the panhandle! Our two bedroom cottage is located in a quiet back lot of the Purple Parrot Village Resort, allowing easy access to the many amenities. You have full access to the heated indoor pool and hot tub, the gym, the two saunas, as well as the 5,000 square foot outdoor pool, surrounded by palm trees. Our property backs up to sand dunes, so you’ll have a private view from the Queen and Twin bedroom balcony.

What makes this property unique

Close to some amazing restaurants, the famous Flora-Bama, and only 10 minutes to Orange Beach, Perdido Key offers you an escape from busy high rises, and city life, but still allows easy access to Orange Beach, Pensacola, Gulf Shores, and Navarre Beach.
