This place is exactly as described. With the stoke chair being down the next best thing after ripper chair runs all day was this place. The cooking facilities brought me back to my line cook days. Will definitely be booking again.
Awesome property in private location with everything you could need.

Interesting place. Looks to be an old converted restaurant so awkward layout bathrooms away in the basement and only one shower also right next to the highway very loud did not realize it was right on the TransCanada.
Fun stay, lots of room. Awesome parking for trailers. Really unique VRBO.

Interesting rental to say the least being an old pub but great for our girls weekend away .However it was right beside the busy highway so we didn’t get much sleep and the odour of the place matched the “pub”. Lots of room and sleeping though would be great for the sledders :)
Had a great time staying here with our friends and family. The cabin has a fun feel giving it was once a restaurant with a bar. It had all the things you would need.
The only downside was that it's too close to the road and loud given we also had to keep the windows open as the AC wasn't working (it was going to be replaced in the coming days).
We had a group of 10. Lots of room. Great amenities for cooking, entertaining and clean up after. Close to the ski hill and town.
Definitely recommend this place for anyone coming to Revelstoke!
The space is really unique while remaining comfortable for large groups, and the vibe of staying in a converted restaurant really makes this a hidden gem. We were very happy with our stay. Upkeep, both in general and between guests, seemed a little bit hit-or-miss. One of the fridges was broken; the commercial kitchen lacks all but the most basic cookware; the only implement for cleaning dishes by hand was a very worn out scrub brush with remnants of previous guests’ food stuck in the bristles; we were only provided with half a roll of paper towels; there were only four dinner spoons to share between the eight of us; there were not enough bath towels provided and no access to laundry so we had to share; there is a sweet wood stove but no matches or lighter. We also came across previous guests’ food when sweeping the kitchen and I picked up previous guests’ trash under the bunk bed. None of this on its own is a bad or even noteworthy, but add it all together and it did make the place feel just a tiny bit neglected. Last thing, and probably the most important—lock your vehicles!! I had to scare off some local kids who were trying to break into our vehicles around 7:15 on the morning we checked out. That was a bummer way to end our stay, but not the fault of the accommodations.
Was a great property for the boys to come back to after golf. It should be further advertised/highlighted there is a sound system at the place with an Aux cord provided. Just plug in your device and you're good to go! Was a very welcome surprise!
And we actually ran into the owner at the golf course randomly. Nice guy - super friendly.
Recommend this property!

Fun stay in a lodge that needs a little TLC
Good place for a large group (we had 7, lodge sleeps up to 12). However, there are a few issues. The roof leaked during our entire stay, and several light bulbs were out. One chair was broken, nearly causing an injury when someone unknowingly sat in it. There were dead bugs in the pots and pans in the kitchen. One last thing is that the bathroom is down a flight of stairs from the living area, something that was not explained in the property description. Despite those issues, we had a good 5 nights there.
Amazing place to stay. The location is at close proximity to City proper!!

Overall very enjoyable
We spent our 10th wedding anniversary here and all in all it was very enjoyable and we would recommend it to others. The interior of the lodge was really awesome and unique and the host was good as was the check in process. The only knock we have against the place was the exterior landscaping was quite overgrown and be aware that while the location is private it is not as secluded as the pictures indicate as the trans canada runs right beside it. Other than that this was a great experience and would be ideal for larger groups!
We had a cool and somewhat unique experience staying at the lodge. Thanks for the hospitality!

Unique
We had a pretty good stay at this unique Vrbo. It was a converted pub! This was a first for me. Hosts were responsive to emails and texts. There were a few things that could have been better but overall the space worked for us and we had a good stay.
We chose this spot for its unique open concept layout, and the cool factor of staying in a former pub.
The commercial kitchen space in the back was perfect to facilitate decadent group feasts and with the equipment and space, prep, cooking, and cleanup was a breeze.
Whether hanging out in the bar area, under the beautiful wood a-frame roof, up in the comfortable queen size beds in the loft, or lounging in the sun on the back deck taking in the picturesque mountain views, the Great White North Lodge always seemed to fit the occasion with enough room for everyone to have a great time together.
You’ll want to have a vehicle to get to many of the major sites and trails Revelstoke has to offer, which we didn’t utilize on this trip, we ended up just enjoying the property for the entirety of our two day stay.
Host Natasha was very supportive and prompt in accommodating of any requests, and we would definitely stay again as part of a larger tour through the interior.
Tasha the owner was extremely accommodating and helpful through the whole process and stay. Cabin is an easy access off the hi-way within close proximity to town and sledding trails. The cabin was fully equipped with everything for the stay including the abundance of good burning wood. The cabin is definitely set up for entertaining groups. Wonderful experience that was shared by everyone through the New Years.

About the host
Hosted by Natasha Worby
Jason and I Natasha Worby moved to the beautiful town of Revelstoke in 2005 after we purchased this stunning 3 acre property. We fell in love with the views from the property and took on the task of renovating the 2 buildings on the property to make it our own. After getting married outside on the property in 2006, we had our son Kade 5 years later who keeps us going! Now we have another new addition we welcomed to our family in 2017, our family is complete with these wonderful 2 boys!
Why they chose this property
The property is nestled between 2 striking mountain, Boulder and MacPherson and looks out at Revelstoke Mountain Resort and the glaciers on the Alberts. We fell in love with the views and 13 years later it still doesn't get old. We also love the privacy the acreage gives you, yet the close proximity to town and all the amenities. You can sled, snow shoe or hike right from the front door
What makes this property unique
What is so unique about this property is that is was a former restaurant that we converted, and boasts an amazing great room perfect for entertaining or hosting a get together, space is not an issue in here. It has a huge parking lot for trailers and trucks and there are gorgeous mountain views from every angle. It also sits on an acreage with beautiful mountain views, and makes a great spot for outdoor events or gatherings.
