Lexington - Lake Huron - Large Log Home - Sandy Beach/Sunrise

This lovely, lakefront, log cabin is privately situated on ten acres featuring shade trees, open fields and 200 feet of sandy Lake Huron frontage. This 3600 square foot year round home has spectacular views of the lake from most rooms.

Huge two-story great room features natural stone-covered fireplace and floor to ceiling windows-perfect for watching the sunrise over Lake Huron.

Kitchen features corian countertops and large eating area. First floor den has TV/DVD and doorwall that leads to secluded deck. First floor bedrooms have king-size beds with smaller twin beds in the same rooms. Second floor bedrooms have 2 Queen-size and one double bed respectively. Second floor loft overlooks great room.

All bedrooms are carpeted. Ceramic tile in bathrooms on first floor. First floor laundry room. Basement offers large recreation room with pool table, ping pong table, and cable TV. The living room, dining room and kitchen overlook beautiful Lake Huron. Most bedrooms have new mattresses!

This property is uniquely suited for small retreats, workshops, family reunions and weddings. It is especially quiet, and the beach nearly deserted.

Note: Our property is located in a residential area. There are strict noise ordinances that do not allow any loud music past 10:30pm. First violation of noise ordinance will result in loss of damage deposit. the second violation of noise ordinance will result in termination of lease.

WEDDINGS: the maximum number of guests allowed for a wedding is 100 for the log home and 125 if both homes are rented. if you wish to have a tent and/or a DJ they must be from the homeowners recommended list.

Fantastic place

Our stay was awesome here. The place was well stocked with everything you could possibly need!!! The owners provide all you will need. The amount of beds was perfect for our large group. The views are absolutely amazing. The owner always answered my questions very quickly and was very accommodating. (His messages were very short and informal, but always answered and to the point quickly). My main complaint was the water smelled like well water (not a game changer but something to note) and the temperature of the water wasn’t easy to control. Took a long to get hot and then once it did it got very hot. I also thought from the listing that the den was its own room (I assumed it had a door to close) and it’s not. It’s just a room at the end of the hallway so the person I assigned to sleep in there didn’t have much privacy. This is not a huge issue but I felt the listing showed it as a separate room. I also think the owner should update the website bedrooms. The way it’s listed is slightly confusing as to how many beds are in each room. Again, none of these issues were a bad thing necessarily but just worth noting for other groups. We absolutely loved our stay here and we plan to come back again!!!! Fantastic location with amazing views and the house was very clean upon our arrival. Thank you so much for sharing your rental with us!

Incredible View and Location

What a fun place! This lodge was the perfect property for our large family holiday gathering. We had plenty of sleep space, and the great room was large enough to accomodate all of us at one time. And the views of Lake Huron out of the huge back windows were fantastic. For those earlier reviewers commenting on the water... you just need to be patient. It did take a few minutes to get the hot water flowing upstairs in the hall bath, but I dont think that's out of the ordinary for a lodge this size. Everthing was well stocked and provided. All in all, a great rental. If anything, a few cookie sheets and pots could use a good scrubbing, but nothing to get worked up about. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Christmas Cabin Stay

This has become an annual tradition for us, we just love the "cabin". The udates added to our comfortable stay. Although it was foggy for most of our stay, Christmas morning we saw a beautiful sunrise over the lake. We had great walks along the beach and even spotted a pair of bald eagles! We had a WONDERFUL time. Thanks so very much.

Great Group Trip

The house was beautiful, the lake access was enjoyed by all. The house had plenty of areas for sleeping, with open space in the basement for activities. The patio area was very cozy, perfect to start and end the day with a view. The house was stocked with all the needed essentials, like glasses, plates and serving utensils which made cooking for the group very easy. Thank you so much!
