About this property

Remodeled 4 BR Waterfront Home w/Dock & Ocean Access Near Duxbury & Plymouth

This property just underwent an extensive remodel from top to bottom with all new furnishings, beds and bathrooms. The home has beds for 10 and can sleep 12 comfortably with one couch bed. There are two living rooms and a waterfront office complete with plug in monitor and printer. This is a business friendly house with wifi throughout. We have recently added a new shiplap bar outside on the water with a TV. The patio has a large sitting area and a teak dining table for six. The house has three flat screen TV's, one on each floor. There is a top floor balcony with breathtaking views of the River and bay.
This property is located one mile from Duxbury, four miles from Plymouth, eleven to Cape Cod and 36 to Boston.

There is a farm stand and Bay Farm park a short distance away that has beach access to the bay and miles of walking trails. We overlook Kingston Harbor. We do allow boats on our dock but please inquire with me directly about the size of the boat and the trailer. This is a tidal river that requires advance planning. Bring your Paddleboard and Kayak, but remember to have the proper USCG flotation device with you. Launch from the dock.
Day passes are available to Duxbury Beach and we are a short drive by boat or water to Plymouth. In Plymouth you will find several ferries that can take you to fish, whale watch, or sight see.

Beautiful and Peaceful Location

This is a beautiful location. The neighborhood is so peaceful, and the people are friendly. The view is spectacular. We were there in early fall and were fortunate to see some fall foliage and had nice weather to sit on the dock. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is clean and well-equipped. We would highly recommend this rental.

Unique and lovely location

This is a charming home that has been updated to be very open, with wonderful views of the river. Our family was comfortable, having plenty of common space to spread out (two living rooms, a sun porch, two outdoor areas to relax). Being an older New England home, the bedrooms and bathrooms were small but comfortable. The kitchen is roomy, and was very clean, though we had some trouble finding certain utensils. The big winner of this house is that outdoor space - gorgeous views of the river!

Great location!

This house allows for a well rounded vacation - close to the city, close to Cape Cod and located on a quiet calm river! We took our 80 year old father on a trip to see his beloved Red Sox. Not looking to stay in the city, this was a great spot for a relaxing vacation but also able to make a day trip to the city for a game. The outdoor space served as our wind-down spot after a day sight seeing. The owner was responsive to all of my inquiries. Check in and check out was a breeze.

Kayaking on the river

This is a very special home for my family. We have painstakingly remodeled this house over the past two years and we have created a three floor high end vacation home that has many amenities.

Why they chose this property

This home is located on navicable salt water on the Jones River with a dock for two boats. You have ocean access to anywhere in New England. Bring your Kayak, paddleboard, jet ski or boat to the dock and launch it at the landing that is five houses away. The fall is spectacular with the leaves turning and the home is available for longer term off season rentals.
