The majority of the properties in the Winter Park area do not have A/C due to the cooler climate. The resort base closes during the off seasons in the spring and fall but the downtown area remains open year round. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture or beds and must be crated if left alone. Additional fees will apply for non-compliance. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am Daily. There is parking for 2 cars. Excellent location. Close to town and the slopes. The property had some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on in a VRBO property! Loved having a hot tub to unwind in after all day skiing. Only wish it was bigger as it was a little tight with 5.

Break from the Heat

We had a wonderful time visiting Winter Park. The property was great and just what we were looking for in a place. It was clean upon arrival and well equipped with all that you would need for your stay. The location was close to town so you could walk to the shops. We will definitely come back.

This is a great place to stay. The beds were wonderful, kitchen spacious, whirlpool wonderful, and in unit laundry! For a Luxury Condo, some improvements should be made: provide better and more toilet paper and paper towels & pump hand soap, the hot water heater was not capable of supporting 5 people and running the dishwasher and laundry, toilets were weak, refrigerator water/ice filter needed changed, and a 4 quart or 2 quart Rubbermaid pitcher would be a great addition to the kitchen. Location was perfect.

Enjoyable stay

The unit is new and beautiful. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed (we made Christmas dinner). There are 3 stories - we did have an issue with temperature (Hot on top level, cold on bottom 2 levels) - called property manager and they were quick to respond. Loved the use of the garage. Location was perfect - Very convenient to everything. We would rent again.

We had such a wonderful time in this beautiful condo! It was very clean, spacious and modern with excellent finishes. The couches and beds were extremely comfortable and the view was breathtaking. Easy walk to restaurants, bus stops and the Fraser River Trail. Hot tub was a big plus too. Winter Park Escapes was great to work with and were very responsive to any requests we had. Would definitely use them again and hope to return to this unit in the near future.

Great property, poor management communication

We had an amazing time at the property! It suit our family well and I actually got engaged here! The property management company was difficult to get a hold of and they had just updated their phone system so I had a frustrating phone conversation with a female employee. Overall, we had a good time here and made some amazing memories.

We had a very comfortable stay. The beds were great. The hot water heater ran out of hot water pretty quick unfortunately, so spread out your showers:). I had a couple cold showers. The kids toys were much appreciated. The hot tub was fun. We saw a moose in the parking lot! Bring your own coffee grinder if you like fresh ground coffee (kitchen was otherwise well stocked).

Comfortable and spacious. The kitchen has great appliances and is well stocked; even with spices. Beds are comfortable. TV was a bit hard to figure out and you need your own Netflix account to use that service. Only disappointment was that it wasn't close to the Lift (town shuttle). Winter Park Escapes was super nice to work with. The best part was having Xplorie to book our skis and to go tubing. Would definitely consider staying with Winter Park Escapes again.

3 masters in a great location

We were 3 couples and this property was perfect for us. 3 masters with private bathrooms and an extra half bath in the living area was a huge plus. Garage was great for all of our gear and there was an amazing sledding hill at the top of the street. Living area and kitchen are great for a group. There is only one thermostat for 3 floors, so heating can be inconsistent. Once we figured the right setting, we were more comfortable. Big windows in all the rooms. Overall we loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

Rendezvous mountain vacation

House was very clean and well kept. Foam bedding isn’t my favorite but it was adequate for the week. Front door code did not work and we had to find the email to gain access to the garage. Waited on hold for 20 minutes while we searched for the email. Cell service was spotty and getting access to the email was tough. Overall, we were very pleased with the property.

Winter Park Retreat

Great location close to many activities. Pet friendly which allowed our adult kids to bring their well mannered dog along to avoid boarding. Space allows a workaround as internet was good. Double master suite is a plus. Communication alerts to the VRBO app would have been helpful in lieu of email since there was no VRBO reference in email. A primer on how to enter the code on entry and garage door would have been helpful. Garage is a major plus for storing gear. Moose sighting out back was a treat. Overall nice place.

walkable, good for families with little kids, a litte loud

Location was an easy walk on a trail into town. Set up for families with younger kids. Area in the back is great for kids sledding and feeling of extra space and privacy. Only complaint is that unit is loud on the parking lot side. I could hear the attached neighbor's music and a lot of thumping noises through the wall. The front bedroom is very loud to the noises outside because the windows don't close and lock, along with a few other windows in the townhome as well. All the noise comes into that front bedroom.

The property is really nice, the Mgmt company is just okay

The property was missed for cleaning on the day of check in so the cleaning crew showed up late and delayed our check in by well over an hour. It’s bad enough check in is not till 4 pm, but to have to wait for the cleaners and then have to check out on the departure day at 10 am - it’s maddening. We spent well over an hour vacuuming after the cleaners were departed and then we spent two hours cleaning before we checked out. A real rip off on time. Not to mention all the nuisance fees. I won’t do another VRBO - they rip you off.

Great location - just behind the Winter Park town. Quiet. Nicely decorated. Clean. King beds are comfortable with nice bedding. Nice details for kids (games, kids books). Heater/humidifier in each bedroom. To fix: Trundle bed. It had a coil mattress from the 1970s. Get a new mattress asap. Even my 5 year old couldn't stand it. Also - push the bunk bed against the wall so the pillow won't fall. The front door keypad didn't work but the code to the lockbox key worked. The prep email sent by the mgmt company talked about a hot tub, and a review said there was a hot tub across the street. I couldn't find a hot tub. I emailed the mgmt company on Saturday morning, but no one responded to me. Not even sure if the hot tub exists.

its good, not great. know what your getting in to

house is beautiful! There was a ton of snow, so everything is beautiful! The living room area is smaller than anticipated, so we could not all hang out together comfortably. We had 4 adults and 5 kids. There was not enough blankets to sleep in all of the beds (trundle). You also have to be OK with some Dog hair in places (on blankents and trundle). The Hot water heater must be slightly under sized as we ran out of hot water during shower times. I love being able to pull into the garage! Location is Great to Winter park and several places to eat (make Reservations!!!!!) and there is a big outfitter store in town (forgot the name). Front door would not quite open the deadbolt (weak battery?) but the garage code worked perfectly! All of the appliances were fantastic (includes Washer and Dryer), The hot tub is across the street so we did not use it as it was a short trip. all in all, We really enjoyed the stay... I mean the place is BRAND NEW! it is a nice place. I recomend!

Be upfront about the $400 in activities

The property was wonderful but totally disappointed with the activities. You really got to read read the fine print kind of contract. The activities are for one adult, per day so it makes impossible to use the $400 dollars a day. We were promised a hot tub and the unit did not have a hot tub. A big lure to booking that property was the activities. We had told the kids to bring swimming trunks. You don't mess with a kids heart, kids simply love water. I was very disappointed.

Kitchen is well stocked even with spices. Very good appliances. Beds are comfortable. Management service was easy to work with and having Xplorie to book skis, tubing, etc. was the best!!!
