The Park suite is a perfect romantic destination, ideal for a honeymoon or romantic anniversary weekend. . The queen size bed boasts an ultra comfortable mattress with host supplied linens. The living area offers a comfortable sofa, fireplace, a 40' flat screen TV, cable and nice sitting area. Pets are allowed with an additional fee, guests need to signify upon requesting booking that you will be bringing a pet.

The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, microwave and granite countertops. Kitchen is fully equipped with dinnerware, cooking utensils, wine glasses and champagne flutes. Complimentary coffee to get you started is provided.

Located in one of the most prestigious homes in the landmark historic district directly on Forsyth Park.


Built in 1870 for the city Treasurer John Williamson, the home is located directly on Forsyth Park next door to the Magnolia Hall Inn owned by the Savannah College of Art and Design and only steps away from the famed Forsyth Park fountain. Many shops, restaurants and cultural destinations are a short walk away. This is the ideal location for your visit to Savannah.

Favorite spot in Savannah

We loved the location of this cute little apartment. The cleanliness was a little subpar, just in need of a thorough cleaning- dusty decorations, baseboards, dirty door in bathroom, stains on couch. Could use some lighting updates as well, it’s pretty dimly lit. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic “antique” vibe. Could not ask for a better location. Comfy bed. Handy kitchen. Only four stars because it needs a working dehumidifier and the bathroom could use paint top to bottom.

This location is the definition of perfection. Conveniently located near everything I wanted to do. Great communication with property manager and easy access. Dog friendly is important. My dog and I want to come back. The super cool atmosphere of this neighborhood is unbelievable.

Making the best of rainy days in Savannah

Making the best of rainy days in Savannah Unfortunately it rained hard every day we were here. Still managed to walk through Forsyth Park, ate at some wonderful restaurants and drove through Bonaventure cemetery. The location was great for accessing Forsyth Park.

Anniversary Adventure

In Savannah to celebrate anniversary. This is a lovely property. The furnishings are in keeping with the antique feel. Pretty spacious and had all the amenities you could ask for even iron and hair dryer. Nice extra touches like Keurig cups and toiletries. Fantastic location! Walk out the gate and cross the street to Forsyth park. Walking distance to many sights. Be sure to check out the farmer’s market at the park on Saturdays. All in all a great stay.

Savanna Hideaway

Wonderful unit bordering Forsythe Park, well positioned to enjoy walking the entire historical district. The unit is smallish yet comfortable. Some traffic noise from busy Whitaker St but we didn’t find it an issue during our 4 night stay. The bed was on the soft side, it may not be comfortable for people needing a more firm support. We would certainly come again. The free parking on Huntington St worked out well.

Disappointed

The door was unlocked when we arrived. The television was on and the volume was set very loud. Obviously someone had been in there watching television. The carpet was very filthy, the room was dark and dank and smelled musty. Furniture was like flea market finds. The place looked like it desperately needed a deep cleaning. We never unpacked, walked out, locked the door and left. We stayed at a hotel for our visit. This was advertised as historic and technically it was, but it was not well maintained. This was supposed to be for our 50th wedding anniversary and expected a romantic and cute little apartment. It was little, but that’s about it. The only upside was Forsyth Park was across the street, but that’s the only positive thing I can say about this utterly disappointing rental. We basically threw away our money.

Unsatisfactory- Had to leave early

I cannot understand all the highly rated reviews of this property - I think the 2, 4, and 6-star reviews are realistic assessments of this place. We booked it for a long stay in January 2025, but I was nervous based on those low reviews, so we booked for three nights in October 2024 to make sure it would be satisfactory. It was not. The complete deal-breaker was the bed - it appears to be some kind of memory foam mattress, so you kind of “stick” to it, and it sags so badly in the middle that I found myself “throwing” one leg over the side to keep from falling into the center. Our backs hurt so badly after two nights that we left a day early. The comments about flea-market furniture are accurate. There is one tiny table whose top wobbles so badly that you can barely use it. It has two cane chairs whose bottoms are about to fall through, hidden by old cushions. The couch is an old sleeper sofa, which is also very uncomfortable. The toilet leaked when you flushed it, which apparently previous guests had noted. How this is a problem whose fix could be delayed is beyond me - disgusting. The price is right, and we were able to bring our dog, but those are the only positive things about this property. It is rented for most days of every month, so it seems to me that there should be plenty of money coming in to update it. It sounds like the furniture is the same now that was complained about in the 2022/2023 reviews. Could be a nice place if completely remodeled.

The property was welcoming to pets and the location is great. We were never able to sign into any of our streaming services even after following the directions. We left a message on the after hours 'chat' function but never received a response. We were mostly out and about so just forgot about it. The bed was comfortable and had drawers and closet space. It is a small English basement apartment so rather cool/damp and we had a few bugs. It could use a few upgrades and the bathroom painted.

Loved our stay in Savannah! The house was beautiful and the small suite was perfect for my husband and me and Lilly (dog) It’s across the street from the beautiful park where we had our coffee and let Lilly play around. We rode our bikes a lot but it’s also an easy walk to the river street area. Plus you can always catch a bus. Comfy bed with lovely sheets and pillows. The area is just gorgeous!

The property is right beside Forsyth park. That is right where we need to be. Also, we took a walking ghost tour, and we were able to walk back to the suite with no problem at night. I do recommend parking your vehicle beside 13 Secrets (a jewelry store right beside the suite). and taking Lyft, Uber or walk everywhere because parking downtown is expensive and limited. Very limited…. I would definitely stay at this suite again in the future.

Previously we stayed at the adjacent unit. It was far superior to this unit. Not going into details as it really not pertinent. As before the location is perfect. We loved the breakfast right across the square. Probably should note on vrbo that fountain wasnt here. Its not a perfect world and as my husband said im spoiled and have too high expectations.

The property was nice and private. Perfect location for access to the great activities in Savanah. The interior had a historic feel to it and a beautiful kitchen. Unfortunately, the refrigerator was not cooling for food or drinks but the manager was nice enough to get me ice and a foam cooler. I missed 2 days of my stay here due to a canceled flight. I plan on going back!!!

They also decided to keep the previous proprety manager on as she has managed the property for 6 years with a proven track record of quickly responding to any guest issues.
