The backyard is the best part of this older house. The “backyard” is all artificial turf, not grass. Very welcoming, private, and we loved watching TV outside in the evenings. Of note, the driveway has a steepness to it that we were not expecting. For anyone with bad knees like my husband, this could be difficult to navigate. The room with the king size bed is what used to be the garage. It’s very spacious and the best bedroom in the house. It’s also at the opposite end of the house from where the 2 small bathrooms are for this reason. We were very surprised after booking this home to see that the Host charges a 100 Damage Protection fee. In addition to the standard cleaning fee. This was not obvious to us at booking, and felt hidden. When we contacted the host to inquire about this damage protection fee, we were told this was nonrefundable and would cover any damage to the home. We have never seen a host charge this before as nonrefundable.

The Hot tub was great it was hot enough. The rooms were very clean and the kitchen was too. The Host was great ansewred when ever i called or texted. They also made sure that someone cam out to clean the pool because of all the leafs falling. I say its a 10 out of 10. Loved it

We were very disappointed the pool was not heated that was not stated in the listing. None of the lamps worked. The towels were old and worn. The grill did not work. The general care of the home was minimal dirty baseboards. Smokers beware the no smoking means even outside. The location was great close to Walmart and the attractions we went to. The beds were very comfortable. This was our annual sisters trip.

Everything was fine. We had a problem with 2 of the ceiling fans not working correctly and they sent maintenance out quickly and fixed it. There was a problem with ants in the kitchen and out on the bbq grill. They had the exterminator out quickly to put out poison. The only issue we had was the pictures on the add were taken with an angle that makes everything look much bigger than it really is. And made the driveway look flat. It was a VERY steep driveway that should be in the listing as such. 3 of us have difficulty walking and it was a huge struggle getting in and out of the vehicles. I almost fell backwards every time I tried to get in or out of my car. Very dangerous.

This was a great place to stay for my son’s Air Force BMT graduation. 15 mins from the base and plenty of room for a large family. The pool was nice to have and the grill was great to cook my airman a home cooked meal! The owner was quick to respond and easy to work with!

Amazing for Families

Started with easy check in instructions, they sent a video on how to, made it extra easy. The pool and hot tub were in pristine condition and well taken care of. The outdoor tv was a plus too! The pool was definitely the highlight of my children's vacation. The house had plenty of space and all the amenities you could possibly need. (Blow dryer and hair straightener included) plenty of towels for the week and most any extras you can think of. We would recommend this place to any family wanting to visit the area for a fun low-key stay. We will definitely stay at this house again if back to the area!

The house was perfect for our weekend visiting our son. My son lives in Leon Valley so it was nice to be close to him. Absolutely beautiful back yard! Loved being able to relax by the pool, watch movies and enjoy drinks with the family. The house is extremely well stocked and beds were very comfortable. Looking forward to staying there again on our next trip to San Antonio!

The property was clean, well stocked and convenient to all of the places that we needed to go to. John, the host, sent all of the details ahead of time and check in was easy. The kitchen had all of the cutlery and cooking utensils that we need to prepare meals and snacks. One of the best features was the beautiful back yard, with a pool and hot tub. We had a great time and we expect to be back. Thank you John.

Airman Graduation

Our family chose this location for it's convenience to Lackland Airforce Base. The home is centrally located between the airport and the base. It was perfect for our needs and the owner and property managers were very wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!
