Storm Meadows is simply one of the best rental property locations in Steamboat, right above Right-O-Way Trail, providing ski-in and walk-out accommodations. Unit #280 is one of the best locations, if not the best in the building. You're essentially a private entrance to the unit that you can ski right up to, a great patio outside your door with amazing mountain views and you are steps to both the hot tub and the staircase that takes you to the ski trail you ski out of.
The property is nicely updated and offers an open living area with comfortable seating on a leather sofa (pulls out for a 2nd bed) and chair. Sit back and relax by the stone gas fireplace and take in the views and/or the flat screen TV. Off of the living area is the remodeled kitchen, featuring gorgeous granite counter tops, beautiful stainless appliances, cherry wood cabinetry and four counter bar stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking a meal.
The master bedroom suite features a comfy, queen sized bed and remodeled, full bathroom including a shower and tub.
Right outside the front door is a nice patio with your own table and two chairs, and amazing mountain views, that you can ski right up to! You are steps from the community picnic table, hot tub and grill and right near the stairwell you walk down to access the ski trail to the gondola or Christy chair lift. There is a community fire pit on the property that is great to relax after a day on the slopes.
There is a secured ski locker in the building for all of your gear and free parking outside the building.
During the summer, you are right there on the biking and hiking trails, near base area where you have access to other activities such as the roller coaster, mini golf, plenty of kid friendly activities, free concerts and movies.
Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.
