We had a great time visiting family for the 4th and would recommend the property to anyone! Check in was easy and the place was in close proximity to town and all the 4th of July festivities. The place also had enough space for all of us and we really enjoyed our stay.
Our travel plans changed last minute and we were glad to find this place to stay that was convenient to so much we wanted to do in the UP. It was just a few minutes to groceries and restaurants and also provided us with great access to the National Lakeshore. The property is huge with lots of space for the dogs and privacy. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were very spacious. Thank you for letting us use your home!
Our group of 6 had a great stay. Close to trails and spacious living quarters!

Just Ok
Property showed photos of outdoor furniture that wasn’t available upon arrival. House smelled wet towards the middle of our stay. There seems to be an issue with the exhaust on the hot water heater creating a sound that sounded like fire works going off all night. The dishwasher didn’t work upon arrival so the dishes inside were dirty. We finally found the breaker box and reset the breaker to get it to work. The inside of the house seemed to be infested with mosquitoes and we were bit all night long in our sleep. The couch should be retired. Two of the seats are like sitting directly on the floor. For the cost of this place I would have thought it would be of nicer quality.
We really enjoyed this house. Very warm and inviting. Close to the hiking and kayaking we planned. Kitchen had all the tools we needed for some great meals. Definately recommend
This place is fantastic! Clean and very spacious, peaceful and quiet location while still close to town and attractions, and the kids loved it too! Will definitely be staying again next time we come up north!
The place was perfect for snowmobiling. Unfortunately winter decided not to fully participate. Would definitely stay again plenty of room good parking close to trails.
great cabin for a snowmobiling trip. good location not far from trail. did have a short bit of road to get to the trail, but it was not plowed so worked awesome! i would recomend, and we will probably be back. thanks Renze for a nice place!

Great snowmobile getaway!
We really enjoyed the home for our snowmobile weekend. It was newly renovated in a cute lodge style and very clean. The mudroom was wonderful for all of our gear and there was plenty of parking for our trucks and snowmobile trailers. The owners were very quick to respond to questions and great to deal with...we would definitely rent this property again. Thanks Carol!!
Enjoyed our stay, could use a little updated appliances, coffee maker would brew for about 2-3 hrs for 1 pot, none of the lights worked around the stove or oven so had to cook in the dark.
Property was just as described in the listing. Carole was extremely helpful during our stay. Beds and furniture were comfortable. Access to the trail was drawn on a chalkboard in the laundry room... very easy to follow. We made all of our meals and the kitchen had everything we needed! Garage was great for sleds. We hope to be back next winter!
