An absolutely wonderful chalet, great location and communication with the hosts was amazing and heart warming! We couldn't have asked for better hosts! A ski-vacation to remember forever!
Beautiful mountainside chalet with wonderful owners! Enjoyed an easily accessible day of skiing on the mountain and great family time at the cabin. Will definitely be coming back!
This was a great space for our family with everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. The Mountaineer shuttle make it easy to get to the slopes and back. Would highly recommend.
The house is just beautiful - feels like a true Swiss Chalet. Everything you could need for a long weekend - comfy beds, really well equipped kitchen, good water pressure, easy access to slopes with the Mountaineer Shuttle service, quiet location and fabulous stargazing from the deck. I went with my three adult kids and we really enjoyed ourselves!
Wonderful hosts, extremely helpful, truly above and beyond. Very nice, little kitchen. Of course very convenient for driving down to Palisades. One note, there was some dog hair in the house during our last stay, so perhaps worth double checking with the hosts on latest cleaning routine if you have an allergy.

We are so grateful that you chose to come and stay a second time. We are sorry that you encountered dog hair and we can assure you that a dog has never been in the unit. After your stay and before the cleaners, we took damp dark colored towels and wiped down the carpet, walls, and sofa to try to find dog hair but we could not find any. Perhaps the front door matt collected some. There is a chance a dog hair could linger from the clothes from a previous guests even with excellent cleaning practices. Again, we are sorry that you had that experience.
From the moment of arrival the welcome mat is out in full array. Clean, up to date, and full of all that makes a stay in Olympic Valley a special treat. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time attending a wedding over the weekend. The property is beautiful, very well appointed, and very clean. It was built around 2015 and everything is high-end including the fixtures, shower heads, towels, and linens. I will definitely be returning for ski season.
This was our second stay in a month and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Host is accommodating to requests and lives nearby. Small details like fresh, restocked cream for coffee in the fridge are very convenient.
This is a a special place nestled in a residential, quiet area 5 min away from Palisades. Initially we were a little worried about breakfast options not staying at a resort, but the proximity to Coffeebar and well-equipped kitchen made breakfast quite easy. The place was very clean and the common area well laid-out, highly recommend!
This was a very comfortable and well managed property in a terrific location. It was convenient to Palisades and the Village at Tahoe but also very quiet. The listing is accurate and the hosts were courteous and available if needed. We would return.
Great space to stay very near Palisades. It was no more than a 5 minute drive. Kitchen has what you need. Bedroom with twin beds and another with king bed. Shared bath was very nice.
Great vacation rental. Very clean, warm, comfortable, and well-maintained. Great storage setup for ski equipment. The unit had everything we needed. It is located above a detached garage, but we did not have any trouble with noise. Close to the village and very convenient. During winter snow conditions, a 4-wheel drive is highly recommended due to road grade; free on-call mountain shuttle is available to take you to the village for shops, restaurant, skiing. Alisa and Luca are very welcoming and responsive to any concerns.
The property is immaculate. The house is a masterpiece, lots of well-considered details. The wood the house is built of is stunning, absolutely gorgeous. Location is perfect, cul-de-sac, surrounded by trees, fells so safe! Many thanks to the owners, we had a wonderful time and definetly will be coming back again!
