Very small, convenient location in run down area

Photos did not adequately convey the small size of the property. Probably not a good choice for a one month stay. Paint peeling in bathroom. Two very small bits of counter space. Full sized working oven and stove. Very small 700 watt microwave oven. Dining space is a 6’ x 14” shelf mounted against the wall. Stacked laundry worked well. Bed was comfortable. Backyard space small, but nicely laid out, and fully fenced.

Unsafe property

The property is in a very unsafe area. Surrounding homes had security bars in their windows and doors. Never stayed as we didn't feel safe!

Was double booked

When we showed up someone else was there. The contact said it was double booked and it happens sometimes as if it was no big deal. We got sent to a random one bedroom apartment as an alternative. When we asked how we would get in, we were told it was unlocked (uhm SCARY) and told it's a safe area so it's fine (right🤨). Since it was late and raining and we had been on the road for 10 hours we thought we'd check it out (not with a lack of protection for sure) since we had no place to go with 2 dogs. We found no one hiding inside, so we asked for a key so we can lock up and were told one would be delivered but never heard from the contact again. We got the heck out of there before our dogs or belongings were stolen or WORSE! It was VERY SHADY!!!

Despite being double booked at check in … stay was great…

Property was double booked a d people already inside when we arrived… one phone call to the owner and it was solved… we enjoyed the house as it is close to everything.. a couple minor cosmetic upgrades needed but owner says these are being taken care of .. cute and very nice place
