We purchased our timeshare after retirement, and we live near some of our children and grand children in New England. Unfortunately we are not able to make the trip as often as we would like, so need to rent out some of our time-share allotment in order to maintain ownership.

Why they chose this property

As residents of the New England area, we were and are attracted to this winter get-away where clear warm weather is almost guaranteed. The desert surroundings provide an emphasis to the get-away nature of the area. We came down here to swim with the sea lions in the Sea of Cortez and were taken by the blue sky, the ocean, the sand. Exploring the surrounding desert was a treat - here it is a garden of plenty compared to the Mojave and Sonoran deserts of California and Arizona. We decided to come back often, which is not typical for us.

What makes this property unique

Besides the absolutely gorgeous pink resort, impressive view of Los Arcos and the expansive Pacific Ocean, and the delicious restaurants, Medano Beach is one of the few beaches where you can swim in Cabo San Lucas. Rip currents are exceedingly dangerous here, and many resorts do not allow swimming, despite being on the ocean.
