Why Debbie chose Vilamoura
I first visited The Old Village about 22 years ago, quite by accident. I fell in love with the quaint architecture and the beautiful gardens and returned for a couple of years before purchasing the apartment for its lovely view of the gardens and the added value of a balcony and roof terrace. I never tire of visiting and feeling totally relaxed.

Apartment 7b
We have been to the village previously but had not stayed at this apartment. Debbie the owner was very helpful and allowed us to have a late check out. Bathroom had obviously been updated recently too.
Unsatisfactory
Would not recommend this apartment at all. We did get a small refund from the owner which was appreciated. A big let down and a big disappointment.
Excellent studio apartment. Ideal for a short break. Would definitely recommend to others.
Easy
A lovely setting
I found this property really easy to book. It's in a lovely setting in the centre of Old Village with great views from the roof terrace. There's a shop and places to eat on the doorstep. Three pools to choose from. The marina took us 45 mins to walk the first time but only 20 mins after that. Signage for pedestrians would be helpful! The property sleeps 4 but all in one room and the sofa bed is only suitable for 2 small children.
Amazing holiday!
This is such a lovely villa. When we arrived they said it wasn’t ready but took my number and called as soon as it was. We didn’t realise it had a roof terrace so that was a nice surprise. Was a perfect villa for what we wanted; we were a group of three friends staying for four nights. It was a short walk to the marina/beach, the setting of the villa (Old Village) was beautiful and the facilities were great. We had questions before we travelled and these were answered instantly. Before we travelled we were supplied with documents to help with our stay. Have already recommended this place to friends and family.

The studio was great for are short stay. Always love the old vilage have stayed many times. Will definitely stay here again

Coast/Beach:
The Falesia beach (blue flag rated) can be accessed in half an hour by foot, and by 15 minutes by car. A motorized train leaves The Old Village every 30 minutes to the beach.
Travel:
Faro Airport is 25 minutes away by car. A car is not absolutely essential for Vilamoura itself, however it would be an advantage to golfers and those wishing to visit some of the surrounding areas. Transfers can be arranged from the airport to the apartment, and return.
Distances:
Vilamoura marina is a 15 minute walk away.
Vilamoura tennis centre is a 10 minute walk away.
The nearby town of Quarteira has a daily fish market and a general market every Wednesday and is easily reached by bus or taxi. The inland town of Loule which is 15 minutes by car has a popular food market every Saturday morning.
