Fantastic 2 bedrooms (Large master bedroom, small second bedroom with twin size bed) 1 full bathroom Cottage with a deep water boat dock! Full kitchen with oven, refrigerator and microwave. Full size washer and dryer included located in the smaller second bedroom. Fully furnished with two televisions complete with cable and wifi access. Screened in front porch with a large shared backyard for relaxing by the water. Cottage is attached to the main house by two stairways. Will also find a great grill area with all the amenities to grill with while enjoy looking at the water in backyard. Accommodates up to four for comfortable sleeping. Fishing right off the dock located in the shared backyard!

Walking, biking or kayaking distance to Tarpon Springs' World Famous Sponge Docks, Spring Bayou, and the Historic downtown. Driving less than 2 miles you will find Fred Howard Park and Sunset Beach as well as to two premier golf courses.

Property was old and rundown.

We were very disappointed in this property after seeing the good reviews and very nice photos on the VRBO listing. While the place was clean, there were several things that were not good....there was black mold behind the shower tile grouting, the sink surface tiling was broken so you had to be careful not to scrape yourself, a kitchen drawer front was broken, the battery to a smoke detector was missing, the living room flooring had several places where it had separated and the grounds were in very poor condition. Our water view was blocked our whole week by two large boats.

Cottage was very spacious and had everything i needed! The owner is onsite and available if you need anything. Walking distance to downtown and Bayou with walking path. Nice quiet location

We loved the cottage. It is immaculate and very clean, owners are so nice and helpful. Tarpon Springs is a wonderful place. We hope to return someday.

We are outdoor enthusiast!!! Enjoy traveling, gardening, boating, fishing & Night fishing. A good book to relax or a puzzle. And we enjoy Tai Chi / Qigong an hour every morning 5 days a week to start our day!
Robert is 6th generation in Tarpon Springs and I have lived in Tarpon Springs for 42 years. I was born in Leticia, Colombia (South America) and come from a Greek, Colombian and Portuguese family.

We live on the property and will help to make your stay as memorable as possible!

Why they chose this property

This specific property has been in the Gause family at least 90 years. The cottage bedrooms are over 80 years old and an addition was made 30 years ago. It is a quaint cottage that is on the water with a big shared backyard and there are many activities!!! Fishing off the dock is fun. Guests have caught these fish that are native to the area Red drum, Black drum, Small Tarpons, Jakes and Mangrove snapper, what a variety!!!
Able to kayak, boat, jet ski and be out in open water without having to wait for a bridge to open from the dock located in the backyard. Great restaurants with night entertainment full access from water. Close to downtown and historic Greektown all in walking distance.
We live on property if not on vacation. With that being said we are here to make your stay memorable! We are open to special requests.
