A unique opportunity to stay in a rare, beautiful and truly historical place
I cannot praise this property enough if you like history and peace and quiet.
Erik and Annette have created a beautiful haven in this historic castle. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable while still retaining it's historical features. The whole castle and the surrounding medieval village are treasure troves. The pool is lovely and the surrounding countryside beautiful. Annette has done such a beautiful job of planting the courtyard and pool area with lovely plants and all of Erik's clever improvements are done with a real eye to retaining the original character of the castle.
Erik and Annette were gracious and welcoming hosts and we really appreciated the tour they gave us of the whole castle including their own private accommodation.
When we stayed there were no other guests so we had the pool area to ourselves which was extremely welcome.
A big thank you to Erik and Annette x

Thank you Eric and Annete you were both very welcoming and helpful. The Chateau with swimming pool and lovely garden was so much more than we expected with stunning views of the Medival village and surrounding countryside. We had a really lovely time staying there and hopefully it will be the first of many visits

Just wonderful
The castle is spectacular, it is even more impressive than the photos. Erik and Annette are great hosts, so friendly, genial and helpful. The pool is so nice, a super way to spend a day. The accommodation has everything you could possibly need, seriously, if you can find a kitchen implement that you need that isn’t there, then you need to get out more. The surrounding area is beautiful, with loads to do. One of my favourite holidays ever

Extraordinary - a brilliant place to stay.
This is an extraordinary place to stay in the true sense of the word. The so-called appartment is very well equipped with two good sized bedrooms, the massive 'hall', and a very large kitchen. There must be a dozen seating areas around the property - by the pool, on various terraces, and outside the kitchen door.
Our hosts, Erik and Annette, who live in another part of the castle, were discrete but always on hand to help or advise.
Also lovely and undiscovered area with few Brits - a good sign from our view.

I highly recommend this location for touring this part of France. The castle is beautiful and equipped perfectly for a relaxing stay. The owners are charming and we will be going again. A car is essential, however!
