Casilla la Rambla 1 and 2, 2 Villas With Private Pool, Air con, sleeps 10

Our two villas have been carefully renovated to retain many of their original features, while still catering for the modern life.

Villa 1 has 3 bedrooms (double has Aircon), lounge/diner, full kitchen and bathroom. There are strong fans in all bedrooms. Wifi is available throughout the whole house.

Villa 2 has two bedrooms, lounge/diner, full kitchen and a bathroom. There is Air conditioning in the master bedroom and a log burner in the lounge (logs included in the price) Wifi is available throughout the whole house

Outside there is a pool with a large terrace area and a further 5 terraced areas with BBQ and patio furniture.

The two villas can cater for up to ten people, villa 1 for 6 people and villa 2 for 4 people and is ideal for 2 sets of friends or family. There is enough parking for 3/4 cars.

THE POOL IS NOT SHARED WITH ANYONE ELSE!!

Set in rural Andalucia, within the Subbetica National park our property offers a glorious rural location, ideal for country lovers, walkers and wildlife enthusiasts. Why not visit la Zamora (25 mins by car) where you can see a large Griffon vulture colony or maybe you fancy visiting the beautiful whitewashed village of Zuheros (half hour by car). Whilst set in the countryside, there is a small supermarket and Bar/Restaurant in the local village, which is only a 20 minute walk (3 min drive) away and 3 larger towns within 20km. Cordoba itself is a 40 min drive away, with Sevilla, Malaga and Granada all within 1 and a half hours drive.

Great place to stay

We had a really good time with the kids, lovely house with a private pool, great location with lots of things to see in the region ; beautiful villages around and not far from Cordoba. To note the owners are really nice people who give you privacy but are always available to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Would highly recommend.

A great place out in the country to relax. We loved the pool and the setting. Great views! Gavin is a great host. The villa is in a good condition but could use a little spruce up.

Great property in Andalusia

Lovely property in the Andalusian countryside. It is a really nice place to rest and relax in but is only a 20 minute drive to the shops and less than 2 hour drive to cities/sites in different directions- Seville, Malaga and the coast, Granada, and less than an hour to Cordoba. The house is spacious, the swimming pool is brilliant- it’s location and size makes the property. Round the pool are good shaded areas and lovely views. Gavin was a really good host, quick to reply to questions and very helpful. We had a great time in Andalusia and this property was a massive part of it.

Hemos pasado 4 noches en la casa de invierno por nochevieja y se nos han hecho cortas. La casa tiene dos habitaciones, perfecta para 3/4 personas, mantiene el encanto original pero esta perfectamente acondicionada. Chimenea, agua caliente, luz, baño y cocina funcionan sin ningún inconveniente, como en casa. Las terrazas son bastante soleadas, están muy bien preparadas y accesibles. Y con la barbacoa a mano que usamos un par de días. Los dueños han estado muy pendientes de que no nos faltara de nada, encantadores. La zona es muy silenciosa con caminos para pasear y cerca de parajes naturales y pueblos bonitos para visitar en coche. Repetiremos para cuando el tiempo nos pida un baño en la piscina!

La propriété correspond parfaitement à l'annonce. Calme, entourée d'oliviers et de magnifiques fleurs. Belle piscine. Bien placée pour visiter Cordoue, Grenade et Séville. What a fantastic place to stay, tucked away in the hills surrounded by olive trees and vines. We stayed here for 10 days, the Casa and pool are wonderfully appointed. A great holiday was had by all including our teenage daughters who loved the pool and WiFi! Gavin and Jamina couldn't have been more helpful.

Montilla villa

Excellent villa in beautiful location overlooking olive groves and vineyards. The villa is spacious, and the pool is great, with far reaching views. Great location with Sevilla 1.5hrs away, Córdoba under an hour and Granada 2hrs. Towns of Montilla and Cabra worth a visit too. Owners were really helpful and were great with the communication.

Rural Idyll

Waking up to the sound of birdsong and gazing outover olive trees to the hills of Subbetica beyond, you know you're in a good place. Casilla La Rambla is a lovely little house with excellent outdoor areas so that you can sit and enjoy the Andalucian sunshine anytime of day. The house is well-equipped for a self-catering holiday, while excellent host Gavin ensures you have the information you need to make the most of your stay. A car is essential as rural peace comes at the price of supermarkets being a 20 minute drive away and only the village bar being within walking distance - and that with a 2km uphill walk home.

Delightful Villa & First Class Hosts

Can’t recommend this villa enough. Simply beautiful, immaculately clean. The towels are fluffy and I should have asked what fabric conditioner they use! The location was perfect for us, so peaceful but within easy reach of vibrant towns and cities. The hosts are salt of the earth, lovely people. So helpful and they clearly really care about you having a fantastic holiday. Thank you so much!

Zalige woning en ligging.

We hebben deze woning gehuurd voor 10 dagen en het is zeker een aanrader. Prachtig uitzicht, heel rustig. Gavin en zijn vrouw zijn heel lieve en behulpzaam mensen. Ik zou deze woning zeker nog eens huren. Het zwembad is ook zalig. Een perfecte plaats als je rust wilt en niet ver van de stad.
