You lovely flat certainly exceeded our expectations.
Your local agent Dave was very helpful during our stay. The weather was brilliant during our stay with temperatures in the late 20’s and early 30’s with only one short light shower.
We found that Puerto de Mazarron was a delightful resort and particularly enjoyed its Marina with restaurants, bars and ice cream parlours around it. There was even an Irish themed Guiness bar! The beach was very wide and long around the bay. The resort was mainly Spanish and not overwhelmed by the British, which was nice.
We also found it a very good centre for exploring the region with visits to La Manga (which we found overwhelming) and (rather better) Cartagena and the lovely city although large city of Murcia and a resort down the coast, Aguilas.
Again thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable,
Steve was very helpful in taking a last minute booking.
The property is a little further out than we thought and so a car (especially for carrying shopping up Cardiac Hill) would be recommended. Also lots of steps until you realise that going out, two flights and then lift bring you to the garage level.
Hotel nearby for a drink and Leonardo's restaurant at the bottom of the hill was very good. The Indian (Sataj?) was superb, the house red is very good. Try Lamb Palak if you want something not too spicy.
The terrace gets sun all of the afternoon and I think an awning like some of the other apartments would be better, as we had trouble with the umbrella in the breeze to get any shade. Couldn't find a tap to use the hosepipe to rinse off sand/dust
Pop-up chicken shack near the Lidl junction was very good for a relaxed Sunday brunch, Whole Chicken 7.50 and delicious herby roast potatoes 2 euros, plenty for 3 adults.
In the Marina, we liked the Farola del dia, way too much food. This is the first place as you get to the front. House wine is only 1.50 for a large glass! Booked solid by Spaniards at the weekend also. They do tapa inside if you can't get a table.
I cannot understand why Viggos is so popular? Typical tourist offerings and poor service.
Overall, very nice introduction to a new area for us, which we will come back to for more exploring
Esta a 5 min en coche todo (playa, supermercado, bares...). No lo recomiendo para personas de movilidad reducida, ya que no hay ascensor y hay muchas escaleras. El primer día nos avisó la propietaria que la cisterna del inodoro soltaba agua constantemente, había que cerrar el grifo del inodoro todas las noches para que no molestase el ruido del desagüe. Aunque no hubo problema con eso, más complicado fue ducharse, ya que la manguera de la bañera se desenganchaba del grifo y tenía que estar otra persona sosteniendo la manguera. Le avisamos a la mujer y no apareció en toda la semana. Además, la otra ducha era muy pequeña y apenas te puedes mover en ella. Lo bueno: la tranquilidad en la piscina ( la mayoría de los días no había nadie).
El alojamiento está en la zona alta del puerto de Mazarrón, si tienes coche no tienes problema ninguno en llegar en 5 min a todo lo que necesites: comercios,restaurantes, zona del paseo, playas....
Es un apartamento ideal para familias con niños, al estar ubicado en una zona tranquila sin ruidos y donde más corre el aire.
No se lo recomendaría a una persona mayor o con problemas de movilidad reducida porque para acceder al apartamento, el ascensor solo baja una planta, pero las otras dos tienes que bajar andando por la escalera.
La piscina está genial, muy bien cuidada y sin mucha gente en las fechas que hemos estado.
La terraza nos ha gustado mucho, sin duda es un sitio donde repetiríamos.
El apartamento está bien, es amplio y tiene todo lo necesario para la estancia. Una de las cosas negativas del piso es la ubicación ya que está a 15 minutos andando hasta la playa, a parte, para llegar al piso hay que bajar dos pisos por las escaleras. Tuvimos un problema con el aire y estuvimos un día y dos noches sin poder usarlo y aparte había que estar vaciando las garrafas de agua que se llenaban cada 2 horas. Aún así estuvieron atentos a nosotros y pudimos disfrutar del piso

La distancia a la playa y las escaleras de acceso se mencionan en el listado del apartamento. Sólo puedo disculparme por el problema del aire acondicionado. Ya se ha solucionado y vuelve a estar en pleno funcionamiento. Lamentablemente, debido a las altas temperaturas, las botellas que recogen el agua extraída del apartamento se llenan bastante rápido. Las botellas se pueden quitar pero el agua iría a la escalera y a la terraza. Me alegra que haya disfrutado de su estadía y me encantaría darle la bienvenida nuevamente en un futuro cercano.

Distance to the beach and the stair access are both mentioned in the Apartment listing. I can only apologise about the Air Conditioning issue. It has now been resolved and is fully operational again. Unfortunately due to the high temperatures the bottles that collect the water extracted from the apartment fill up pretty quick. The bottles can be removed but the water would go onto the stairwell and the terrace. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and would love to welcome you back in the near future.

El gran problema del apartamento es la limpieza, hay suciedad acumulada de mucho tiempo sobre todo en los aires acondicionados que están llenos de moho, probablemente por falta de limpieza y mantenimiento y un problema de humedades del edificio. Esto se lo comunicamos al propietario y le enviamos fotos pero nos comentó que había estado unas semanas antes allí y lo había encontrado todo bien.
El estado del apartamento me provocó problemas respiratorios por lo que me tuvieron que atender en urgencias.
Requiere de una limpieza e higienización en profundidad.

Por empezar,publican que hablan muchos idiomas ,yo hablo el español y aquí las personas que entregan la llave no lo hablan nada,un gran fallo.Me ha sacado de dudas su propietario ,porque ,al mirar las explicaciones del aviso también estaban en inglés,para entregar la llave,nadie contesto,solamente me quedé hasta la hora que decía de irnos y la dejé adentro,una hora después de salir contesto el dueño.Con respecto a la vienda y parking ,muy bien ,las vista y terraza y todo mantenido.
Yo volvería al saber cuáles son las condiciones ahora y esto se arregla haciendo una descripción y poniendo un cajetín con una llave,como la mayoría de los lugares donde no tenés trato con nadie y no dejan de ser muy buenos lugares

El alojamiento estaba muy bien, como se ve en las fotos, amplio y cómodo, la pega que le pongo es una plaga de hormigas(suele pasar en la playa pero era demasiado). Por lo demás las instalaciones y piscina muy bien y contentos con los días que pasamos allí.
Accueil plus que parfait. Malgré la distance de la langue, nous avons été très bien reçu par Gill et Brian ksteve n'étant pas présent).
Hormis certains point de nettoyage, un peu de bazar dans les placards, l'appartement n'est pas sale (plutôt des points oubliés). Pour les plus maniaques, un coup de pongé est c'est fait. Belle résidence, proche des commerces et à 10/15min à pied de la plage.
Super séjour chez vous. Merci !
Nous avons apprécié la propreté des lieux, l’immense piscine privée et la vu sur les montagnes où nous avions tous les soirs un magnifique coucher de soleil. Stephen est disponible facilement pour toutes questions et demandes. Merci pour votre accueil.
Nous avons adoré la plage de Calblanque et son sable doré (ça a été mon endroit préféré.) À voir les érosions de Bolnuevo... Dégusté une très bonne paella à Mazarron, un régal! Très bon séjour en famille!

Para mi, lo más importante en un alojamiento, es la limpieza y las camas. Todo aprobado con sobresaliente. La zona donde estas está ubicado el apartamento está un poco alejada del centro, pero la ventaja es la ausencia de ruidos, músicas,...

Third stay in three years this is a lovely clean, quiet and spacious apartment, with air con satellite TV, wifi, large balcony and its own pool. About 15mins walk from a beautiful harbour with lovely restaurants. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner always contactable.

Yet another great holiday!
We have stayed in Steve’s apartment many times. Over the years, improvements have been made to make our stay more enjoyable.
The apartment now has air conditioning and wi-fi is also available.
It is ideally situated for supermarket shopping, both a large Lidl and Mercadona are within walkable distance.
The apartment also has a charcoal barbie situated on a large patio, which is brilliant for alfresco evening suppers.
There is also a large flat screen tv with all English free sat channels.
The apartment was beautifully clean and very well presented when we arrived. We were met by Steve’s local contact, Brian and Gill and they are on hand if you need any help. Thank you both.
There are several local beaches to suit all needs. Some walkable others you need a car but only a 5 minute drive.
The port, a 10 minute walk has all the restaurants you will need. Whether your preference is Spanish, French, Asian, fast food or gourmet cuisine, you are spoilt for choice.
All in all another brilliant holiday. Thanks Steve, we are already looking forward to returning next year.

Beautiful place with stunning views
Beautiful apartment with stunning views... myself and my family enjoyed this place a lot... very spacious and comfortable with air conditioning... 2 bathrooms which made it less hassle due to us having 4 children... the apartment is only a 10 minute walk from the port and beach... the port offers lots of things to see and do and is fully packed with bars and restaurants.... I will definitely be going back to this place... the owner is a good man and nothing is to much trouble....

Comfortable apartment, fully equipped.
We had a good time despite a few days of rain and grey skies. Took advantage of sizeable terrace when sun came out. Apartment worked well for us, always good to have two bathrooms. We could just about distinguish where the sea was, shame development taking over sea view! Lots of good eating places, Viggos and Gula Gula in the marina are particularly good. Not interested in shops so can not comment on them, seems to be plenty around though.

Lovely Apartment
We have stayed in this well maintained apartment many times. It has great views from the very large terrace, particularly at sundown. No where better to have a cool G & T after a hard day at the beach!
It is well furnished with good cooking facilities if you should want to eat in, or use the bar b q on the terrace. It also has the benefit of air con in the main bedroom, and as the weather is usually very hot, is essential.
Unlike some other apartments we have stayed in, there is always a good supply of hot water for bathing.
It is within easy reach of all the great sandy beaches that Mazarron has to offer. The port with its many varied restaurants and bars is in walking distance so no need to get the car out in the evening.
There is a super very clean pool area with separate kids pool, which is usually very quiet.
Mazarron is now very well served with a good selection of large, well stocked modern supermarkets, for all you needs.
If you like to explore, then there are many interesting places to visit within a short drive. Cartagena and Murcia are both worth a visit.
The owner Steve, or his agent in Mazarron, are always contactable should you have any problems.
Overall, thanks Steve for another great holiday and we look forward to returning next year.

Why they chose this property
We bought the apartment as an investment in 2006 having never been to the area before. Upon searching for the apartment we wanted a quiet area but within walking distance of the more lively part of town to cater for all age groups. We feel we hit the target on both counts with Cuatro Plumas situated in a quiet residential area but only 5-10 minutes walk from the busy Port. With local amenities 2 minutes away this puts the apartment in an ideal location for all your requirements. The New Marina surpasses all our expectations as it was still under construction when we purchased the property. The Port we feel is evolving and is certainly an area to keep an eye on in the near future.

The apartment offers plenty of space for relaxation, the kids love the pools and will spend hours in there having fun in the sun
