This great unit is centrally located within the complex close to all the amenities that El Matador has to offer. Great view of the Gulf and Intracoastal waterway from the kitchen window. Watch the sunset as you prepare your evening meal. The kitchen is fully furnished with everything you need to enjoy a home cooked meal on your vacation. The living room has a sofa sleeper and flat screen TV. Experience incredible sunrises and views from the living room and balcony of the courtyard and Gulf of Mexico. Master bedroom has a king size bed, flat screen TV and guest bedroom has two twin size beds.

El Matador Condominiums are located next to 17 miles of uninhabited beach. To make your Florida vacation unforgettable, our beach resort offers an array of amenities which includes two pools (one is heated seasonally), tennis/pickle ball and basketball courts, a fitness center, whirlpools, saunas, meeting rooms and more! Resting on over 12 acres, El Matador is beautifully landscaped and meticulously attended featuring lush palm trees and manicured lawn. The resort is accented by surrounding sugar-white sand, the sparkling surf, and is convenient to many unique shopping establishments fine restaurants and a variety of water sports.

Age Requirement: NO reservations will be accepted for singles under the age of 25 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. A parent or legal guardian shall be allowed to supervise no more than 3 individuals under the age of 25. Parent or legal guardian MUST occupy the same room as those they are supervising. Any reservations made under false pretenses will forfeit all prepaid rents and deposits and will be required to vacate the unit.

The bldg 2 is a beautiful view of beach and harbor! The property was very well kept. The sliding glass door was in poor shape and needs replaced but it worked so not a big issue. We will definitely be back!

Nice location / nice beach / felt like a private beach.

The place was very nice. My family loved it. We slept 6 and a baby easily. We forgot our play pen and the place had one we could use. It was a life saver. The property and view was just what you dream about. Water was very clear. Its right next to military land so it felt like a private beach. Lots of people fishing and catching plenty. Pools were clean. The room was clean. The only two issues I had was there was a hole in the wall when we arrived by the sliding glass door. The shower was clean, but when we took our shower, it was clogged up. I had to plunge it to get it to drain. I called maintenance and they sent a crew out to unclog all the hair and sand from the drain. Yes those are issues, but it did not ruin our stay and would stay here again. Only suggestions for improvement: Have more places to hang your towels and swim clothes to air dry, especially on the balcony. Maybe a rain coat hanger or something and hooks. Also, some people had chairs and umbrellas provided for the beach. We did not find any. Our outside door was locked. Yes they had chairs to rent, but would have been nice if some were provided. I recommend this place and will stay here again.

July ☀️Visit

We SO enjoyed our stay at El Matador. The condo was extremely comfortable and location was great! This condo is not one that has been upgraded, however it served the purpose for our visit and was reasonably priced ! We had to call maintenance to clear the shower drain, which was like standing in bath water while showering, and was quite annoying! The drain was "cleared" but the next couple days it quickly backed up again. The kitchen was definitely very dated, and refrigerator was small. Pots and pans were minimal, but like I said, the condo served our purpose. If upgrades and beauty is desired I would not recommend. The tile floors were "piecyy" and did not match throughout. There were plenty of towels for us, and the view from kitchen was good of part of the bay. There was a Gulf view from the very small balcony, but not a great one. The beautiful and large Gulfside pool was very visible from the balcony. All in all , we enjoyed our visit in these very modest, older accomadations. Recommended for those wanting a great beach vacation , not a luxurious condo. You won't find that at this one.

Excellent stay and great value!

When we arrived at El Matador we were impressed at how quick and easy it was to check in. The condo itself is old and in need of just minor upgrades. It's a basic no frills condo but gets the job done. It was clean upon check in. Good view from mid sized balcony. I agree with others there should be a place to hang towels as there are no hooks outside. The heated pool was very nice, the kids enjoyed it. Overall this was a great stay, super location and friendly locals. We will definitely stay here again!
