Villa Hilal was built as a family home and is exceptionally well equipped both inside and out to ensure a comfortable stay.
The villa is located in a developing area on the hillside above the town in an area of Turkish family homes and newer contemporary villas, with spectacular views over the town and the sea and as far as Patara Beach to the west.
Particular features include the furnished traditional Turkish " kosk" for evening relaxation or to escape the heat of the day, and the separate small child's pool. Shelter from the sun beneath the attractive modern pergola on teak sunbeds after a cooling dip in the pool, before enjoying a BBQ alfresco meal around the 8 seat marble dining table. Later, relax on the furnished roof terrace and watch the sun set over Patara Beach to the west as the evening lights of Kalkan start to twinkle.
This luxury detached villa has all the ingredients for a perfect holiday. Villa Hilal has three double bedrooms all with ensuite marble shower rooms, and a further shower room on the ground floor, a large comfortable lounge with sat TV and internet access, dining area, American style granite kitchen, balconies, a furnished roof terrace, The luxury also extends outside to its large, furnished sun terrace, 9 metre pool, children's pool, al fresco dining area, choice of traditional or gas BBQs , and the traditional kosk where you can lounge on cushions and enjoy a few drinks as the sun sets. Villa Hilal is in an open setting and has stunning views across the town, the bay ,the Taurus mountains and to Patara Beach.It is just a few minutes drive from Kalkan old town, harbour and beach and 5 minutes walk from shops and a local market. The villa accommodates 6 people comfortably.

Perfect Villa

Just had 2 weeks at wonderful Villa Hilal , Kalkan. Perfect villa in every way. Stunning views. Absolutely beautiful pool and outside area. Very comfortable bedrooms and overall just the perfect home from home . Definitely recommend and after staying in Kalkan many times over the last 12 years the best Villa yet.

Fantastic

Villa Hilal is beautiful. We stayed for 11 nights & didn't want to leave. The villa was spotlessly clean throughout. We had a groceries left for us which was very welcome. Umit the manager was great. He made sure there was nothing we needed & he was easy to contact. Mike the owner was fantastic through the whole booking system & was quick to respond to any questions he also recommend our airport transfer. The pool & surrounding area outside was great & the pool was kept spotlessly clean. If you want a Villa with fantastic views this is the one. We would highly recommend this Villa.

Villa Hilal - The place to be....

We stayed two weeks in Turkey and the first week at this lovely villa in Kalkan area. From the outset and throughout the holiday communication with Mike and Umit, the manager were excellent. A wonderful villa with stunning views. My favourite area was the outdoor space and the newly refurbished kosk area, which was even better than in the photo's. During our stay we were adopted by the lovely cats who lived nearby and they seemed like part of the furniture but we loved them. This was my favourite villa of the two weeks and would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. It was situated from the main hussle and bussle from the main town which we liked and was nice and quiet in the evening. You would need a car as it is up a steep hill but then this would be the only negative bit I could put. However we always hire a car abroad and even if you didn't there are plenty of taxi/dolmus about. There are a few small supermarkets to choose from and a small sok supermaket at the end of the road. There were six of us and found there to be plenty of space inside and out. Thank you Mike, Umit and also to the pool man (whose name I forget) as he was also very pleasant and helpful.

Perfect summer break

Fantastic stay in a beautiful villa. The villa was well equipped and comfortable. Stunning views especially from the roof terrace, we would definitely stay again !

Amazing views, great accessibility to the town and great responsive management.

Kalkan is stunning and the surrounding atmosphere and culture is enchanting, yet each day we found it increasingly difficult to leave our darling villa. The villa is comfortable, the views are incredible and every bit of information we required was included in the comprehensive, well written guestbook.

Why they chose this property

We have been looking for sometime for a place in the sun. Kalkan and its surrounding areas are beautiful, relaxing, and exciting. The weather is just perfect and the people are so friendly and helpful. Villa Hilal is situated on the mountainside above Kalkan town and on the edge of the village of Akbel, with a mix of traditional Turkish family houses and new contemporary villas. Here you will find everything you could want from the local village market on Sundays to small eating and drinking places, where you can enjoy the tasty local food, after the gentle 5 minutes stroll down from the Villa. There are mini markets selling most things you need.You will find the locals to be great hosts, very helpful and friendly.

What makes this property unique

The views from Villa Hilal are superb from all the rooms and the large terrace. The pool on the terrace has a small pool perfect for children or for those non swimmers who want to relax in the warm water and not miss out on the fun. There is a traditional charcoal BBQ and also the quick and easy convenience of a gas BBQ.
A large Kosk lined with Turkish cushions provide the perfect spot for relaxation, evening drinks whilst watching the sun go down over Kalkan. The upper floor has the advantage of a roof terrace with unsurpassed views over Kalkan and to the west Patara beach, where in the evenings you can watch the sun set. The balcony also has elegant tables, chairs and a sofa for your complete relaxation.
