The two bedrooms (one double, one twin) make it ideal for two couples or a family looking for relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the main resorts. The cosmopolitan village of Pelekas with its wide variety of bars, traditional Greek Tavernas and a few shops is only a 5 minute drive away. The sandy beach resort of Agios Gordis is 10 minutes by car, as is the golf course and it’s only 20 minutes to Corfu Town and the airport. The cottage is the second one of a small development of five linked detached properties. Its 7m x 3m pool and south facing garden make the ideal setting for sun-worshipers, with the covered veranda and olive tree providing a welcome retreat in the shade. Inside, it is furnished to a high standard with the high ceilings and open plan lounge/dining area giving a light and airy feel.

Secluded location with easy access to the Island

Very good property to rent, spacious enough for 4 adults or 2 plus 3 children. Great pool that you can swim in not just take a dip, and a very easy to deal with owner in the UK. Highly recommended.

Overall we had a fantastic time at a beautiful property, slight problem at entry regarding the key code which was quickly rectified thanks to the owner. A slight problem with cat urine smell in kitchen and no cleaning mid term due to paperwork error with vrbo, however overall we loved the property and location and would definitely go back there, thanks to the owners

A fantastic property, and the pool was lovely in the heatwave too. Had an issue in that the aircon unit in one of the rooms wasn't working when we arrived but this was sorted by the next day. We'd also been given the wrong key code due to an issue with Vrbo but the owner was very responsive thankfully! The owner was very communicative with pre check in instructions and directions etc. Centrally located so easy to get around places as long as you have a car. What a gorgeous property we'd love to come back to...

Beatiful house and swimming pool

The house and swimming pool are great. The house is well located close to several beaches and also close to Corfu Town. Great communication with the host and clear instructions. Only thing to take into account is that there is almost no phone reception in the property. It’s perfect for 4 people. I’d recommend it!

The property was above and beyond our expectation, the advert does not do the property justice The kitchen and bathroom are very modern and beds are really comfortable. Every possible amenity was there. Outside the property was fantastic plenty of beds and chairs, with the pool being attended and cleaned regularly. The villa was cleaned spotlessly whist we there. The villas location is perfect with some wonderful old school tavernas close by. Any problems and Andy made sure you knew he was just a phone call away. Very nice Villa. We will come again.

Our stay at the villa was simply perfect. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by an idyllic setting and a stylish ambiance. The neighbor greeted us right away and was super nice. The villa itself was spacious, modern, and decorated with a lot of care. The private pool is particularly noteworthy, as it was not only extremely well-maintained but also refreshingly cool and not too warm. The villa's amenities left nothing to be desired—from a fully equipped kitchen to the bathroom, everything was provided. The quiet location of the villa allowed for absolute relaxation and privacy, while still being close enough to explore the surrounding area in a short time. The villa is located quite centrally on the island. However, renting a car is highly recommended, as you are quite far from the tourist areas. All in all, this stay was an nice experience that I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect vacation spot. I will definitely come back!

What a great place to stay

Pelekas Villa had everything we needed for a chilled and relaxing stay in Corfu. Communication with Andy the owner was amazing. We were so grateful for the fantastic welcome pack you provided as we arrived very late. We were visiting family close by and after daily excursions and meals out together we were able to chill out by the pool and spend quality time together. The garden is lovely. There are so many places to visit - car needed- we went to Glyfada beach, our grandsons favourite. Agni beach, Kassiopi , Pelekas village, kaisers throne - stunning views. The Monastery on a hill. Corfu town was great to explore and enjoy coffee and gelato. There were so many places to eat everywhere we visited and the food was delicious. Best of all was returning to Pelekas Villa to relax and soak in the day. What a great place to stay. Thankyou Andy and hopefully we will visit again soon. Nick and Yvonne

Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in dem ruhig gelegenen Cottage verbracht. Es führt ein kleiner Weg zur Unterkunft, die in einer Reihe mit drei weiteren Häusern steht. Man hat aber ausreichend Privatsphäre. Im Haus war alles Notwendige vorhanden und funktionsfähig. Für jeden waren sowohl Handtücher fürs Bad als auch für den schönen Pool vorhanden. Das Cottage ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Vielen Dank an Andy für die jederzeit nette Kommunikation im Vorfeld und die Tipps zu unserem Aufenthalt auf Corfu. Ein Auto ist von Vorteil, wenn man etwas von der Insel sehen möchte.

Wundervolle Villa mit tollem Pool

Wir hatten tolle 2 Wochen in dieser fantastischen Villa. Die Lage der Villa ist perfekt, um die Insel zu erkunden. In der Nähe ist gleich Korfu-Stadt und Pelekas. Es gab einen warmherzigen Empfang, der Kühlschrank war gefüllt und der Check-in funktionierte problemlos über die Schlüsselbox, das Auto parkt direkt am Haus. Es erwartete uns eine strahlend-saubere Villa mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, besonderes Highlight unserer beiden Jungs war natürlich der Pool. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, uns fehlte anfangs eine normale Kaffeemaschine, wir haben uns dann aber gut mit der Handmaschine arrangiert. Hätten wir das Inserat richtig gelesen, hätten wir bemerkt, dass es keine Geschirrspülmaschine gibt, aber auch daran kann man sich gewöhnen. Ansonsten ist die Küche gut ausgestattet, es fehlt an nichts. Sehr gut waren die Klimaanlagen in den beiden Schlafzimmern, ohne die es bei fast 40 Grad nicht gegangen wäre. Sie kühlen perfekt. Nach einer Woche wurden Handtücher und Bettwäsche gewechselt und sogar das Bad wieder zum strahlen gebracht. Ein toller Service. Rundum gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Es ist ein tolles Haus inmitten von grün mit einem fantastischen Pool und ausreichend Liegen ringsum. Die Kommunikation mit Andy funktionierte schnell und unkompliziert. Einfach top. Wir können es zu 100 Prozent empfehlen. Danke Andy für diese schöne Zeit auf Corfu.

Super Haus

Es war alles super. Das Haus ist bis auf die Kleinigkeiten ausgestattet ,viele Sachen wo wir nicht erwarten haben, waren dort . Es war sauber ,ruhig,sogar Frühstück war für den ersten Tag im Kühlschrank,Tost ,Schinken,Käse ,Wein ,Milch. Es ist etwas schwierig zu finden ,aber mit der detaillierten Beschreibung vom Andy hat es gut geklappt 😎

Schönes Ferienhaus mit Pool

Wir hatten hier einen schönen Aufenthalt in dem gepflegten Haus mit schöner Außenanlage. Das Ferienhaus war sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Kühlschrank war zu unserer Aunkunft gut gefüllt. Wir konnten den Pool zu dieser Jahreszeit noch gut nutzen. Die Kommunikation lief sehr gut und reibungslos. Danke!

Erholsame Tage in schöner, gepflegter Anlage

Sehr gepflegtes, sauberes und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhäuschen (zwischen zwei weiteren Häusern). Durch Sichtschutz und Hecke ist man dennoch für sich. Ideal für ein Paar - auch mit zwei Kindern. Liegt etwas außerhalb von Pelekas in ruhiger Lage. Mit Mietwagen ist man jedoch schnell an einem der Strände und in Pelekas. Korfu-Stadt erreicht man schnell in 20 Minuten. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Wohlfühloase im Grünen

Wir haben die Tage in dem Haus sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war angenehm; er reagierte immer umgehend.Das Haus war sauber und bestens gerichtet; der Kühlschrank war bei unserer Ankunft gut gefüllt. Die Aussenanlage mit Pool und verschiedenen Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr positiven Eindruck.

We are Andy & Mags, pictured in the Pink Panther Pizzeria in Pelekas village and we live in Falkirk, Scotland. I am originally from Manchester and work as a piping designer in the oil and gas industry. I currently work from home, but have worked in various places in the UK and Europe over the years. Mags has been a stay at home mum until recently, but she has just started a new job with a local company who provide childcare for school aged children in the Falkirk area.

Why they chose this property

We love Corfu and holidayed there a few times, visiting my cousin who lives there, before deciding to buy a property. My cousin's business is villa management, so this was a major reason in our decision to buy a property to rent out in Corfu. We know that the villa will always be presented perfectly for all our guests and that in the very rare event of any problems that they will be resolved quickly and efficiently.

What makes this property unique

We love the location of Pelekas Cottage. It's in a beautiful and peaceful setting within an olive grove, yet only a few minutes drive from the village and beach. Whenever we go for our holidays I'm totally relaxed within minutes of unpacking :-)
Pelekas is perfectly situated for exploring the island. it's only 20 minutes drive to Corfu town and both the north and south coast beaches are within easy reach, with some fabulous scenery on the way.
