About the host

My Grandmother moved into the house in 1927, my father was born here and we enjoyed many family holidays in the house.
It was a fascinating place to visit as a child. Granny cooked in the Inglenook fireplace, with the cold water tap outside the back door and loo at the bottom of the garden.
Dad hired a black & white TV to watch the 1966 World Cup Final. Good investment it turned out!
The renown surrounding beaches & countryside are a short drive away taking you to
the Teifi Estuary & Poppet Sands & beaches at Mwnt, Penbryn, Tresaith, Llangranogg, Aberporth & Newport Sands. There is an 18 hole golf course at Gwbert opposite Cardigan Island.
For walkers the Ceredigion & Pembrokeshire Coastal Paths are nearby.
You can of course, just take it easy & enjoy the large back garden & look out at the River Teifi & watch the boats, canoes & birds go by.
