Everything just as described, easy to find, clear communication with Bev the owner and the very nicely renovated house ticked every box for home comforts, peace and solitude. The location is great for sight seeing and we highly recommend this property, in fact we could not fault it. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
We really enjoyed staying here, the cottage was just as described - clean, fresh and inviting. The garden was beautiful and perfect for our dog, Otto, to run around in. The pool was a brilliant addition for use at the end of the hot day. The area has gorgeous views for miles and is peaceful and quiet. It is in a great central location, which allowed us to travel to local towns all around where we were staying. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Excellent 3 weeks stay, really nice & spacious house, fabulous garden for our dog (the owners even offered the dog a paddling pool) Owners on hand if you needed anything. Excellent equipment in the kitchen for cooking. Very quiet & remote location, although close enough to drive to shops/supermarket. Excellent location for exploring the area.

Beautifully peaceful!
We stayed over Christmas and New Year, and adored this lovely little cottage. As stated in the property details, it IS rural, but this makes it additionally ideal for a romantic getaway. We found the property to be small, but beautifully cosy during the winter nights, although the peace and quiet did take some getting used to (we live next to Heathrow!). We will certainly come back, but may come in the summer next time.
It is a reasonable distance from the village, which has a local shop with a very welcoming owner, and is not far from Loches. Would certainly recommend visiting Loches on market day - a take-a-way from the paella seller is worth the visit alone.
As noted above, the property IS small (although I think "compact" would be a better phrase), but for two people wanting to get away to beautiful countryside and a quiet break, this is perfect.

Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Absolute delight, everything was perfect for us, the property and the location.
Wonderful ......

Well restored and maintained cottage with lovely garden
We had a lovely holiday staying in this cottage. The gite is perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday and was provided with everything we needed for self catering. The pool was perfect for the hot days and umbrellas and trees provided shade when needed.
The gite is well situated for visiting many chateaux and small towns and villages and Loches was a delightful surprise. The owners were friendly but respectful of our privacy and when we had a problem it was fixed very quickly . I would definitely recommend this gite to others.

IDYLLIC STAY
Firstly Bev & Nick made us so welcome. The cottage was everything and more than we anticipated. The area was very relaxing, we found a golf course which was fun and very welcoming. We also found a fishing lake near by which was ideal.
All in all a fabulous weeks holiday.
Highly recommended

Idyllic relaxing country retreat
We could not have asked for more! A huge, well-maintained garden, large plunge pool for the hot days, plenty of seating areas for Al fresco drinks and dinner and that's just the outside space!
Within the property, you have everything you could ever need (including books, games, etc), with a well-equipped kitchen and spacious areas to relax and while away the hours. We particularly enjoyed the comfortable summer room, which is a great additional sitting room.
The property is perfectly located - a 10 minute walk in to the local village and a 25 minute drive in to the large, local town of Loches.
We would highly recommend this rural retreat and its delightful owners. We definitely plan on returning soon.

Perfect Hideaway
Bev and Nick have made this rural retreat perfect for recharging your batteries. The sun lounge extension is an excellent addition to relax in, over looking the garden as the sun goes down. You will not be disappointed with this well equipped and well maintained property.
Looking forward to returning next year.

Car essential
Smaller than expected as looks bigger in pictures , but , ok for two people . Bit more isolated than expected, thought village would have more to offer, you definitely need a car to get around .
Although cottage nice it did have a few broken appliances and could have done with being a bit cleaner.
