About this property
Spacious Holiday Home with Private Garden and Log Burning Stove in Peak District
The Wriggly Tin is situated in the beautiful valley of Millers Dale, a stunning area of Derbyshire, with the river Wye running through limestone hills. This quirky holiday home offers luxury accommodation, it was originally built in the mid 1800's along with the now disused railway, it has been meticulously rebuilt to a high standard and offers pure quality and comfort. The living accommodation is surprisingly spacious with vaulted ceilings, stone flagged and oak wood flooring all with underfloor heating, and there is an open log burning stove to warm you after cold winter walks. We have smart television, CD and DVD players and free wi-fi access. Outside there are beautifully maintained private gardens with patios and BBQ areas for you to relax in. We like to welcome all our guests with homemade flapjack and chocolate and we also supply some tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk and fruit juice to refresh you after your journey.

About the host
Hosted by Karen
We are Peter & Karen Barlow and we live next door to the Wriggly Tin, we have lived in Millers Dale since 1992, both our children have been born here. We only moved from neighbouring Cheshire and have always felt that the Peak District was part of home. We fell in love with the Wriggly Tin when we very first saw it, a very sorry state it was, and we have devoted our time to rebuild and lovingly improve it. Millers Dale is a wonderful place to live and we have been very happy here.
Why they chose this property
