Mountain View is a brand new member of Premiere's carefully selected vacation rental properties. "Furnished to the nines" with ultra fine taste - Mountain View proudly shows an array of fine art, upscale furniture and furnishings. It stands unique as one of the very few vacation rental homes to have a pool table.

So named for its panoramic view of Taos Mountain from the Upper los Colonias Mesa between the town of Taos and the Taos Ski Valley. Enjoy this view from the open living area, kitchen, patio, hot tub, several of the bedrooms and the large adobe wall enclosed yard.

Located 4 miles from Taos Plaza, 14 miles to Taos Ski Valley and minutes to hiking trails. Enjoy shopping, restaurants, or hiking, biking, fishing and more in just minutes.

With 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, one sleeper sofa, Mountain View comfortably sleeps 12 people with plenty of living space left over. An Executive style master wing includes a very spacious bedroom with King bed and large bathroom with double sinks, jet tub, separate walk in shower and steam room. A second master bathroom comes equipped with a tub/shower combo. A third bathroom with shower only is shared between the two guest bedrooms and alcove.

Cooking and entertaining is a pleasure in the custom designed gourmet kitchen with adjacent wet bar. Fully furnished with upscale cookware including 2 coffee makers - one for regular and one for decaf, the outstanding kitchen will delight even the most passionate chef.

At the end of the day guests may star gaze while relaxing in the Hot Tub, play a game of pool by the kiva fireplace in the den/pool room. Sip your favorite beverage on the patio or simply relax by watching a movie or ball game on the 65 inch HD TV in the gracious open living area.

From the time you walk in the front door and say , “Wow!”, to the interesting, but subtle, curved architecture and all of the different amenities, Mountain View will provide you a comfortable, relaxing and pampered vacation with memories you won’t soon forget. It has truly become one of our favorite places to stay whenever we visit New Mexico.The house is wonderful—comfortable, welcoming, and filled with all the amenities that make it feel like a home away from home. But the setting is what makes it truly unforgettable. The views across the mesa toward the mountains are absolutely incredible. There is something so peaceful about sitting outside, taking in that wide-open New Mexico landscape and watching the light change across the mountains.And, of course, Mountain View House gets an enthusiastic five paws from Tink & Annie! They absolutely love staying here, especially the gorgeous backyard with its beautiful green grass. Having such a lovely outdoor space for our two little pups makes our stays even more enjoyable.After three visits, Mountain View House continues to be a special part of our time in Taos. It’s peaceful, beautiful, comfortable, and a place we’re always a little sad to leave. We already look forward to returning again!

The house was very comfortable with nice furniture, beds and kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked and the fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs. We enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful pueblo style home in a great location just 10 minutes north of Taos. If you plan to ski at Taos Ski Valley, you are perfectly positioned for the easy drive there. You are also just up the road from Medley, which was our favorite fine dining restaurant in Taos. I've always loved pueblo style homes, so I could not have been happier just relaxing here and enjoying the spectacular views of the mountains and high desert plain. Checking in and out was a breeze. If I ever return to Taos, I would book this home in a heartbeat again.

Great place for a group

It was a beautiful house with great views. We had plenty of space for our group. It was a quick drive up to the ski valley and the hot tub was a perfect way to end a great day of skiing.

Taos Stay

Our family consisting of 6 adults and two children had a wonderful time at this home. The home was as described with plenty of room for all of us. The neighborhood was quiet and serene and not too far from town. We will definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous property

So much space! Every bedroom except one has its own bathroom (one has a steam shower!). The billiards room with a fireplace was a huge hit and the kitchen was to die for. Nicely furnished and plenty of places to spread out and not be in each other’s way. Beds were comfy. Super quiet location

Perfect for our family

This home was perfect for our family Christmas trip to Taos. We are 4 couples and one 18-month old. The deciding factor was the dining table for eight and the hot tub and billiards room were a plus. The home was very well supplied w kitchen tools and basics. Great floor plan and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Home for a Group

This home was perfect for a friends ski trip to Toas. We live in Denver and have stayed at our fair share of mountain houses and this one had really unique, hand crafted design elements that we loved. The home was also perfect for entertaining, big dinners, watching football and playing games. All of the beds were comfortable as well. I would highly recommend staying here!

This is our fourth visit to Taos NM and our second time staying at the Mountain View House. Our visit was lovely and restful just what we needed. The house is perfectly suited for our needs and had everything we wanted to cook and rest and take walks around the area. Our two small dogs loved the backyard and we felt safe allowing them to walk around the area without being disturbed or hurt. They loved the green grass which is rare for the area. We can’t wait to return and will definitely stay at Mountain View again.
