It must have been a misunderstanding
Location is perfect, in the middle of El Cortecito, right on the beach, walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants
Grounds at Playa Turquesa are great, manicured lawns, clean restrooms, amazing pools, not to mention, the beach:-)
Property itself was a different story all together
I expected something 'rustic/dated', but I didn't expect thigs falling apart, things not working, or things missing
like, the screen on the bedroom window was unsuccessfully 'fixed' with the duct tape, and falling off the wall!
Oven didn't work at all, coffee maker had coffee burned into the burner, cutting board was missing, as well as basic things like salt! So even though there is a kitchen, it's perfectly useless
many light fixtures had missing light bulbs, including kitchen, family room and balcony
but the best one was wifi, upon arrival, we were told there is no wifi, even though the listing clearly stated wifi, when I reached out to the owner for the 4th or 5th time about the wifi, I included a clear screenshot with all amenities listed, including wifi, and for this he simply replied: 'It must have been a misunderstanding' and he sent me a screen shot where he just changed the amenities to include 'wifi paid'
that is simply unacceptable!
also, the place has no true security, the windows and balcony doors have no locks! I asked owner and property manager multiple times to fix this, and they simply ignored my requests and questions about it
I will most likely return to Playa Turquesa, but NEVER to apartment A203. Avoid at all costs!
