For your pleasure and comfort of home, the cottage "In Cret du Bois" will seduce you with refined decoration, this house is great for either a family holiday or more energetic walking, cycling (both road and mountain biking) and outdoor activities. The stunning massive timbers are a real feature and all hand crafted by the owners. The rooms are light and airy with a relaxed comfortable feel. The hamlet is wonderfully quiet - other than horses passing, traffic is rare. The Massif des Bauges is a well kept secret among the French - really worth discovering. For anyone coming with children we can supply a large range of toys(big trampoline,Tyrolean 60 meters long,swing,swimming pool). Nearby attractions and activities available include horse riding, Via Ferrata, Accrobranch, castles to visit, vineyards, local markets, award winning local cheese producers, the stunning Gorge du Fier, cycle hire, parapenting and more.

Beautiful and tranquil family holiday

A fantastic holiday in a beautiful and well-equipped Gite. The owners, Christelle and Alain, were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The modern and well maintained Gite was perfect for our family of four offering stunning views of the mountains. The substantial garden was a great space for our two girls to enjoy the trampoline, swing and zip wire. The pool was larger than expected and a great opportunity to cool down. The local village was only a 5min drive away, offering a local bakery and shop for your general amenities. There was an amazing lake offering swimming, tennis courts, and slide during the peak seasons and a local horse riding school. There was very little need to go far. We had a fantastic stay and one that we will always remember. We would definitely recommend this property and really hope to revisit it soon. We couldn't have asked for a better break. Thank you.

Propriétaires du gîte aux petits soins, super accueil. Le gîte est tout simplement parfait, rénové avec amour et parfaitement équipé. La région permet de nombreuses activités et balades. Allez y les yeux fermés!

Week-end au gîte du Crêt du Bois

Magnifique week-end passé dans cet endroit incroyable. Accueil au top, appartement propre. Bonne literie… le jardin est vraiment magnifique avec la piscine, la tyrolienne, le trampoline… un paradis pour les enfants et passer du bon temps en famille.

Superbe gîte ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La région est magnifique et le chalet est idéalement situé pour silloner le massif des Bauges. Hôte très discret avec de bons conseils. On s'est senti tout à fait chez nous. Le jardin (avec piscine, tyrolienne, balnçoire et trampoline) est un vrai must pour les enfants. Les équipements sont de qualité et tout était très très propre. Adresse à recommander sans hésiter.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille dans ce magnifique gîte. Le jardin est immense, la vue est superbe, le trampoline, la piscine et surtout la tyrolienne ont eu beaucoup de succès auprès des enfants :-), et nous avions de la place pour d'autres activités (badminton, frisbee, etc.). De jolies balades (grottes, cascades, points de vue, etc.) sont venues compléter ce séjour. L'endroit est idéalement situé pour rayonner entre Chambéry, Annecy et Aix-les-Bains. Il n'y a pas de commerces à proximité immédiate, mais en prenant la voiture on peut vite trouver d'excellents petits commerces, notamment pour découvrir des spécialités locales. Le gîte est propre et fonctionnel. Les couchages sont tous situés dans une grande pièce avec plusieurs niveaux (2 lits simples sont situés dans une petite mezzanine qui plaira forcément aux enfants :-)). Tout petit bémol sur le matelas 2 places que nous avons trouvé un peu mou, mais nous avons tous les deux des douleurs dorsales. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, réactifs et très accueillants. Je recommande les yeux fermés :-).

Super chalet très bien aménagé décoré et équipé. On a passé un très bon séjour à 6 personnes. Les 6 couchages sont dans la même pièce qui forment une mezzanine avec trois niveaux différents, l'agencement est bien étudié. On a vraiment apprécié, merci à notre hôte

Tolle Unterkunft in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Die Unterkunft ist rundum perfekt - super ausgestattet, sehr sauber, gemütlich und was ganz Besonderes; nur das W-Lan war gelegentlich nicht stabil. Die Vermieter sind ausgesprochen herzlich und zuvorkommend, hatten viel Geduld mit unseren schlechten Französischkenntnissen und waren sehr diskret, sodass wir den Garten, (der mit Pool, riesigem Trampolin, Schaukel und Zippline ebenfalls super war), ganz für uns allein nutzen konnten. Wir waren begeistert!

Printemps dans les Bauges

Très beau gîte, fonctionnel et offrant une superbe vue sur la vallée depuis le salon. Un pied à terre très apprécié de toutes la famille (et des deux enfants 3 ans et 5 ans) pour découvrir les Bauges au printemps et faire quelques escapades dans les villes environnantes. 5 jours sur place, nous serions bien restés quelques jours supplémentaires Le plus : garage privé au Rez de chaussée du gîte très pratique. Merci à Christelle et Alain nos hôtes.

I live in the Bauges with my husband and 3 children. Together we have renovated our house and created the gite. As each season changes the mountains take on a different aspect and we are the first to see it. We hope you fall in love with it as we have.

Why they chose this property

We moved to the Bauges to enjoy this unspoiled region, we love the outdoors and open spaces as well as being able to ski without a being in a crowded ski resort.

What makes this property unique

We've got all the benefits of being only 30 mins from Annecy, Chambery and Aix les Bains whilst being able to enjoy the countryside. It's such a large area that we haven't managed to explore it all ourselves yet.
