A stone throw from the villages la garde freinet and Grimaud our lovely decorated villa has a tranquil location without being isolated. It has a beautiful south facing garden, large terraces. The pool is heated (from mid march tille early november) and has a rolling shutter to close it for children security;
The kitchen is fully equiped for those who like cooking;
the living room opens to the terraces and has a nice fireplace;
the 3 bedrooms are all equiped with TV, 2 have ensuite bathroom

Little gem in a great location

A great place to relax

Very pleasant owners, a beautiful and well equipped house (with a remarkable dish collection ;-)) and a great, not visible garden. The pool is really fantastic and large enough for swimming. We will come back.

Idyllic Getaway

We really enjoyed this cozy home in the countryside, with the refreshing pool, comfortable lounging on the patio, and even enjoyed a nice wood fire inside. John and Kate are very kind and generous hosts, and very informative on recommendations. The trip went by way too fast. We look forward to going back!

A very special spot

While we were surprised at first regarding the remoteness of the location , it proved to be a wonderful place to relax and enjoy village life. Not your standard grey room rental, but a comfortable home surrounded by a sense of family and life. A bit challenging in terms of distance to other towns and you must be able to navigate winding roads.

Fantastic holidays

We had excellent 3 weeks in this beautiful house. Catherine and John were very friendly and helpful. The house is very well equipped and everything is very homely. We felt right at home. The area is also very beautiful and the small village La Garde Freinet has very charming little restaurants. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the perfect place!

Catherine and John are very trustful and friendly hosts, who really take care for everything and if there are some questions, they answer and help immediately. Wunderbarer Aufenthalt im Grünen

Wir hatten mit unseren 3 Kindern einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in dem traumhaften Haus von John und Kate. Das Haus ist ein wenig abgelegen vom Dorf, aber wir haben den Weg morgens zum Bäcker genossen um unsere Pain au Chocolat zu holen. Zum Strand bei Saint Tropez sind es nur 20 min Fahrt, wobei in die Stadt selbst ständig Stau ist. Es gibt unzählige schöne Strände, wo man von dort aus hinfahren kann. Das Haus ist groß und hat alles was man braucht- und mehr. Eine Tischtennisplatte fanden unsere Teenager super zum Zeitvertreib. Der Pool ist klasse- so lang, dass man auch richtige bahnen schwimmen kann. Kate und John sind super freundlich. Wir würden gern nochmal wiederkommen!

Vacanza da rifare

Come si desiderava. Nella tranquillità dei piccoli villaggi di Francia e comunque a poca distanza dalle mete più desiderate della Costa Azzurra. Casa bella e confortevole, piscina godibilissima immersa in uno splendido giardino. Abbiamo fatto la vacanza perfetta, quindi ….ripeteremo! E per finire, John ci ha seguito con il massimo riguardo e cortesia. Bravo.

Tolles Haus in super Lage

Wir haben mit vier Erwachsenen und 2 Hunden 10 Tage hier verbracht. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Der Garten ist sehr schön angelegt und der große Pool ist ein echtes Highlight. Mit Hunden war es ideal, weil alles eingezäunt ist und sie so den ganzen Tag im Garten verbringen konnten. Auch super ist, dass der Garten total privat ist und von keinem Nachbarn eingesehen werden kann. Das Haus war von innen sehr gut ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt und war sehr gemütlich! Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal: nah an vielen schönen Orten, nicht weit entfernt vom Meer, aber es ist so schön hier, dass man das Grundstück gar nicht verlassen muss. John und Catherine sind großartige Gastgeber die super bemüht waren, dass wir alles haben was wir brauchen. Dabei waren sie super diskret und angenehm.

Villa mit schönem, weitläufigem Grundstück und super Pool in ruhiger Umgebung. Perfekt ausgestattet, hier fehlte wirklich nichts. Unkomplizierte Übergabe und Rückgabe durch die Eigentümer, die auch jederzeit erreichbar waren auch für Tipps und Ratschläge. Merci beaucoup Kate et John . Avec plaisir encore !

Enjoyed

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this property would highly recommend it. Was sorry to be leaving after only one week definitely needed 2 weeks as the area was so beautiful so much to see and do The Villa was of great standard fabulous garden for our dog and the pool was very enjoyable excellent experience with the host Catherine and John can not wait to return Caroline mark not forgetting Bentley 🐶

Lovely week in La Garde-Freinet

John and Catherine were great hosts and communicated well before our arrival. The house was very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. It was wonderful to have the pool to come home to as the weather was quite warm and humid during our visit. My only suggestion would be to have a few fans available for the house in case of hot and humid weather. We were not able to enjoy the beautiful outside areas or leave the windows open as much as we would have liked because of the constant mosquitoes (not the hosts fault, of course) but being inside the closed up house was quite warm.

Un séjour très agréable

La maison est très agréable, décorée avec beaucoup de goût et il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour se sentir bien, comme à la maison. Le jardin est magnifique et très bien entretenu. Les propriétaires sont adorables, accueillants et toujours disponible. Nous avons passé un séjour agréable. Seuls 2 petits bémols à signaler tout de même : impossible de profiter de la piscine et du jardin à partir de 17H30 (quand le soleil commence à se coucher) car on est envahis par des moustiques agressifs et forte odeur d’égout qui envahit la maison quand il y a de fortes pluies. Mais les propriétaires mettent à disposition des pastilles à mettre dans les sanitaires et l'odeur disparait au bout de 24H. Ca ne nous a donc pas empêcher de passer un très bon moment dans cette maison magnifique et très accueillante. Merci!

Cette maison joliment décorée laisse présager, sur le papier, beaucoup d’éléments pour passer un agréable séjour. Néanmoins, le présage ne se confirme pas toujours. En particulier, nous noterons la proximité de la route menant à Saint Topez qui apporte un bruit de fond permanent, une piscine qui se salit rapidement en l’absence d’un robot et de l’entretien des filtres, du matériel de cuisine sale et gras, une des trois literies présentant des tâches douteuses... Par ailleurs, nous doutons que cette location soit adaptée pour accueillir 6 personnes, la chambre du rez de chaussée étant trop humide pour y séjourner. Enfin, la moitié de notre séjour a été gâchée par les nuisances d’un chantier (pelleteuse et camion) se situant juste en face de la porte d’entrée. Nous regrettons que les propriétaires, que nous avons tenus informés de nos désagréments, ne soient pas venus lors de notre départ, témoignant ainsi leur désintérêt des préjudices liés à ce séjour. A éviter.

Très belle maison au milieu de la verdure !

Malgré la canicule, nous avons passé une excellente semaine avec notre famille et nos amis. Randonnées pour les plus jeunes, visites des marchés locaux, Saint Tropez, Port Grimaud, Saint Raphaël. La maison est conforme à la description. Le jardin est magnifique et le lieu est très calme.

Repos bien mérité (et bien consommé)

Avons passé deux semaines très reposantes dans la maison décorée avec goût de propriétaires attentionnés et très disponibles. Tout le matériel nécessaire est disponible sur place. Au calme bien que près de la route menant à la côte que l'on rejoint en 30 minutes. Piscine chauffée très agréable. Peu propice aux ballades a pieds au départ de la maison cependant : il faut prendre la voiture même si la promenade pour rejoindre le centre village est assez agréable (appétitif et digestif pré et post restos sympas au coeur de la Garde). Avons aussi apprécié le ménage bi hebdomadaire. Bref excellentes impressions.

Nette Gastgeber, großer Pool!

Die Hosts sind super nett und freundlich. Das Haus ist sehr familiär, es fühlt sich an als würde man Freunde besuchen. Insbesondere der große Pool ist ein Highlight! Zur Maximalbewertung fehlt aus unserer Sicht ein wenig mehr Pflege und Sauberkeit im Garten (Sitzmöbel usw.) und im Haus. Wir hatten übersehen, dass Haustiere erlaubt sind (selbst schuld :-D) und mussten wegen ordentlich Katzenhaaren im Bett nachts umziehen. Daher hier der Hinweis: Nicht für Allergiker geeignet. Für Haustierfreunde aber sicher super :-)!

Très belle maison avec piscine
