Brilliant

What a fantastic holiday we had staying at the casa del sol. The rooms are just beautiful and are cleaned every day. The hosts Sue and Bruno were great with nothing too much trouble, catering to all our needs.The breakfasts and afternoon tea were lovely. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you want a bit of luxury.

My family and I have just returned from staying here for 5 great days. Absolute 5* property with excellent suites, wonderful sun room with amazing views over the Benalmadena coastline while you have your breakfast! Superb private pool and lounging area. Food prepared by Sue is excellent and of a high quality/variety. We hope to return next year and would have no problem recommending this property to couples or families alike. Thanks Sue for everything and hope your business goes from strength to strength!!

Fab!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Del Sol. This place really is a little piece of paradise - tranquil and luxurious. Casa Del Sol is as described - five star with service to match. Sue was a fantastic host and nothing was too much trouble - delicious breakfasts, yummy afternoon teas, really good recommendations on things to see and do and places to eat. Sue goes the extra mile to make you feel very welcome - she even baked a delicious cake for my husband's birthday. I would definitely recommend Casa Del Sol and can't wait to go back.

3 years on still Fantastic

I am sat here with my G & T after yet another wonderful day at Casa Del Sol, this being my third year coming here. My day started after a fantastic nights sleep on a very comfy bed in the platinum room. Susan then provided us with yet another one of her culinary delights at breakfast consisting of Fresh fruit and Eggs Benedict which we ate in the sun room with views overlooking the bay. After Susan our host dropped us at the beach, we returned to a wonderful afternoon tea of freshly made cake. After another of afternoon of dipping in and out of the crystal clear water of our private pool, Susan arranged a massage, again in the sun room with wonderful views. This is a wonderful place to completely relax and let all the stresses of every day life disappear. We have already booked to return next year. Thank you Sysan for yet another memorable stay

Superb

We had a fabulous stay at Casa del Sol. Sue was phenomenal - her attention to detail was second to none, and she could not have done more to look after us. Her breakfast and cakes were soooo yummy too! The two suites are beautifully appointed - modern, super clean and with all the mod cons you would want on holiday. The pool and sunbathing area, which the suites open onto, is fab and gets sun all day, and the view from the solarium is awesome! The local area has lots to offer too. You can walk into the centre of Arroyo del Miel with its abundance of bars and restaurants in about 20 minutes but other areas are more easily accessible by taxi, which are very reasonable. Benalmadena Pueblo is a must see and the cable car trip up the mountain with the birds of prey display at the top was a great recommendation from Sue. Our baby son was mesmerised! All in all, I would definitely recommend this holiday. My husband, son and I had a fabulous stay and were made to feel very welcome by Sue. We are already planning our return!

It is hard to say in words how perfect this is!!!

I am sitting here on my second day of the holiday, more relaxed than I have been for a long time. I slept like a long last night on one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in. I woke up to fruit and yoghurt, then amazing Eggs Benedict, with the best tasting, home grown, mini tomatoes I have ever tasted. If this wasn't enough, I had such a big choice of teas, it was hard to choose. After Susan, our host, had taken us to the beach for a stroll, we returned to a freshly baked lemon cake drizzled, with cream cheese icing. I don't normally eat cake, but this was worth making an exception for. I glad I did!! After lazing by pool for a couple of hours, I had to take a break to enjoy a massage, organised by Susan, just in case I wasn't relaxed enough. The views from the sun room are exquisite, just adding to the whole ambiance. What will tomorrow bring? It just doesn't get better than this!!! Which is why this is my third year here and will not be my last. Why would I not want to come here? This is paradise.

Casa del sol is the perfect retreat to relax. Susan and Bruno have spared no expense in making it a 5* experience, the attention to detail is outstanding and leaves you wanting for nothing. Complimentary airport transfers, 3 free rides, welcome Champaign ( bottle not glass) complimentary wine and beer waiting for you...the list goes on. I guarantee you have never stayed at a b&b to this high standard.

our stay at Casa Del Sol was absolutely fantastic! The location is quiet but walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants. The host, Susan, couldn't do enough for us. Her breakfasts each morning were fabulous and her attention to detail was absolutely second to none. The accommodation itself was stunning. The pool and patio and the sun terrace were perfect for relaxing and playing with our 8 and 11 year old grandchildren without the worry of them being able to wander off unsupervised. The suites were fabulously equipped with everything you could need. I can't recommend Casa del sol highly enough. I would definitely like to go again.

Couldn’t rate the accommodation any higher. Beautiful setting, lovely outdoor area and comfortable furniture, bedrooms are of a very high standard, well equipped. The breakfast was amazing, as was the afternoon tea... and the iced coffees!

A complete. Escape

Another wonderful stay at CasadelSol, 3rd time for us. Susan and Bruno are fabulous hosts and made our 1st family holiday with our 8 month old daughter absolutely delightful. We had a wonderful 10 day holiday as a family of 4 at Casa del Sol, Benalmadena. Susan could not do enough for us - she picked us up from the airport (during a taxi strike so the first invaluable service). She cleaned our beautiful fully stocked (hairdryer, toiletries, teabags, crockery, cutlery etc) rooms every day, gave us fresh bath and swimming towels each day (provided a beach bag with towels for a beach day), she recommended umpteen places to visit and eat (and usually dropped us there). Susan cooked our delicious breakfast each day at a time suitable to us (accommodating my son who has an egg allergy). This was served in a seperate raised sunroom (also for private use during our stay).Tasty afternoon tea/coffee and cakes were also provided on a daily basis and Susan made a special cake and decorated the sun room for my son's 10th birthday, so special. We normally did not need lunch if we did not go out and ate both breakfast and afternoon tea, but there is a big fridge freezer and small kitchenette in each room where you can store extra food and drinks (Lidl is about a 10 minute walk, altho quite steep so lift or taxi might be needed on way back). I can not recommend enough, everything was perfection, we will definitely return without hesitation. A real gem of a find x

Beautiful villa with views of the coastline and sea. Very much enjoyed the tranquillity peace and quite and being looked after with fab breakfasts and afternoon tea. Susan thinks of everything from lint rollers to umbrellas ..but you won't need that as the weather's perfect.. thoroughly recommend and dont want to go home.. dawn and Stewart beeston

Great 2nd stay

2nd visit to Casa Del Sol and we were as impressed as we were on the 1st visit. Everything spotless and we were again, well looked after. Susan's breakfast's and cake making skills are fab, you definitely won't be hungry for the rest of the day! I was also 23 weeks pregnant on this holiday and Susan & Bruno got us some beautiful gifts for the baby. We were also lucky enough to meet Susan's mum this time round. They feel like old friends now! We will be going back next year with our new baby and a testament to Susan's organisational skills, has already given us details on where to hire car seat etc from. Thankyou from us and both and we look forward to seeing you next year!

Disappointed no privacy

I would like to express my personal feelings of this boutique hotel, excellent facilities .but the attitude of my host. a lot to be desired When we arrived we were told it takes 11/2 hrs to clean a room each day, but not told about all our toiletries and shoes being rearranged as she would like including medicine pill box into drawers . I now understand everything has its place but I paid for this room and not to have my personal items moved, food good but make sure you don't drop any or you will be reminded with a dust pan and brush. I would say it was a uncomfortable stay we don't all want to be pressurised into eating in restaurants . I think it was very unprofessional of Susan to contact ahead by phone to my next host owner to discussed her facilities or my personal details of my second leg of my two week holiday in Marbella. There was a lack of comfortable chairs to sit and watch the television other than having to lay on the bed , but my experience did not inspire me to relax sitting outside on a warm evening owing to be restricted what time I went to bed by having to text Susan so she could tidy up and put the cushions away I thought this was my holiday , after having a dip in the pool I left a lilo floating in the pool to lay on a sunbed only to have it extracted by Susan ! There is no privacy whatsoever

Perfect hideaway retreat

We booked to stay at 'Casa del Sol' on the basis of such wonderful reviews and beautiful photographs and we were not disappointed. We were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and also renewing our vows at a nearby location and we wanted to find somewhere special that was both relaxing and private. Casa del Sol had everything we wanted and more. Susan (the owner) was the perfect host. From the offset Susan communicated with us before our arrival and was very helpful. We were asked about choice of beverages and any allergies. She also explained exactly where she would be when collecting us from the Airport, even down to what colour dress she would be wearing. We were taken by Susan to the villa and were amazed at how beautiful it actually was. The whole villa was completely immaculate, not a speck of dust or dirt to be seen. We even tested the top of the satellite TV box for dust but there was none whatsoever. The fridge was full of our favourite drinks and we had a lovely champagne welcome. We were made to feel at home by Susan and she explained how to use everything we needed. All appliances and furnishings were top spec and we had absolutely everything we could ever need or think of: Tweezers, razors, toothbrushes, towels, sewing kit, first aid kit, sun tan lotion, insect repellent, to name a few! There was not a thing that Susan hadn't thought of. The meals at Casa del Sol were on another level to anything we had experienced before. Every day we looked forward to breakfast and afternoon tea in the pretty sun room. We were treated like royalty by Susan and effort was always made by ensuring we were happy with everything. The sea views from the sun room were absolutely stunning and every day the table was laid differently. It was pure paradise. Every day the rooms were cleaned to an exceptional standard and we were provided with clean and luxurious towels for the pool area and shower. Susan gave us 3 free rides and even took us to the place where we renewed our vows. It was very helpful that Susan was so experienced with the area and because of that we were able to see some amazing attractions such as a falconry show, theme park, market, beach and a quaint village with the most amazing restaurant. There is not a bad word to say about Casa del Sol and it has been our best holiday yet. We will most definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone that is looking for a holiday that has that special something.

Fantastic holiday!

Glad I found this place!

Booked this hotel long in advance as it looked a beautiful place to relax after what was planned to be a busy year and reviews suggested that it was very good. Boy was I not disappointed! Before we departed Susan emailed to get our favourite drinks and food preferences for breakfast, I squealed in delight as the holiday was almost upon us. Susan picked us up at the airport on arrival and settled us into the Gold suite which was beautifully furnished with remarkable attention to detail. Once settled we had a glass of bubbly and took in the breath taking view over Benalmadena. The pool and garden area is just gorgeous and so spotless, they really have thought about everything. Susan’s home cooked breakfasts & cakes for afternoon tea were delicious and had a different theme everyday, which we loved. Susan & Bruno made us feel very welcome and could not do enough to ensure that we had a great holiday. Thankyou both and can’t wait to see you again next year!

Perfect in every way

This was our third visit so that should tell you how impressed we've been. The accommodation will exceed your expectations - it's as immaculate today as our first visit in 2013. The attention to detail is outstanding - everything you could possibly need is there - and more. Sue & Bruno's customer service is unrivalled - from the moment you book, you are reassured that everything will be in place for your no doubt much awaited vacation. You are collected from the airport with a welcoming smile and whisked away to what can only be described as a hidden paradise. Our only regret is that we are not able to stay longer and that our stay comes to end all too quickly. Sue & Bruno - thank you for making our stay with you perfect in every way - we sincerely hope that one day we will be able to come back.

Amazing Hidden Gem in Costa del Sol

My husband and I wanted a quite restful week, somewhere close and hot. We spent many hours looking at hotels but couldn't find what we wanted. My husband then found Casa del Sol on the internet, and the rest is history. we were greeted at the airport by the owner Susan, and driven back to the property. WOW was our first impression when we walked in. The room was immaculate and had everything you could ever need for a holiday. From the Bed linen to the towels everything is 5 star. Every little detail has been thought about, from shampoo, conditioner to shower gel, ear buds, you name it , it was there. The room is cleaned every single day and I mean cleaned !!. The outdoor pool area is so lovely we had the place all to ourselves. The breakfast every morning was a surprise theme. I wont go into to much detail as wouldn't want to spoilt it for anyone else. However, the breakfasts are freshly cooked and the view is spectacular. Then we had afternoon tea , with home made cakes or cookies etc. Susan and Bruno are fantastic hosts , we have stayed in many top hotels around the world, and I guarantee the service you will receive here is up there with them, but on a more personal level. I would definatley recommend this to our friends and family and we will for sure be returning when we can. Amazing hidden Gem , Thank you for a lovely week

Fabulous 5* apartments!

Our second stay at the beautiful Casa del Sol apartments. These apartments really are outstanding, spotlessly clean & extremely comfortable! The poolside area and garden are also immaculate and well maintained. Sue & Bruno are very attentive and nothing is to much hassle! Beautiful Place to Stay

Second stay at the lovely Casa Del Sol. It is in a peaceful location but not too far from amenities. The rooms are fantastic; extremely comfortable and clean. Sue, as ever the fantastic host, catering for all our needs with nothing being too much trouble. The pool is well maintained and clean, and the breakfasts in the mornings were absolutely delicious, with a new theme every day. Thank you so much, hope to see you soon!!
