Gite With short stroll to the beach

This lovely modern gite is situated on the cap Frehel peninsular, this coast line is truly magnificent and steeped in history. The village has two restaurants and only a 3 min drive to the golden beach of sable d'or les pins which offers restaurants cafes, fun bike hire, bouncy castles, casino with entertainment for all the family and a golf course. Only 15 mins drive to the beautiful St cast le Guildo which also boasts lots of fine restaurants, a golf.. course and fabulous port. We are also only 30 mins from Dinard, Dinan and St Malo. This is a lovely peaceful location which everybody enjoys. The property has a lounge-kitchen which is fully equipped for all your needs and the lounge has a sofa bed and fold away table and chairs, TV with English and French channels, books and games and outside a large terrace with garden furniture to enjoy a bbq or just sit and relax and soak up the beautiful weather.

A dream of a beach and a coast

The environment cannot be topped. The beach house of Margret is nice, but only partly adapted to real summer heat. An additional air condition would be helpful. The stairs to the sleeping under the roof is very steep and not suitable for people with handicaps. The owners are very friendly and excellent hosts. The village Pleherel la Plage has only one restaurant and an beach café. You need a car to get food in Erquy.

One of the best holidays I have ever had

Everything mentioned in the write-up is correct from the stunning views to the amazing beaches all within a short stroll. The gite is very comfortable with everything you need and more. The veranda is a great place to eat or just sit and soak up the sun. Great shower and toilet facilities made it feel like a home from home. Eating out is also recommended, there are some top-class restaurants within easy driving distance and the best we found within a short stroll from the gite serving the best muscles-frites I've ever tasted along with a full menu, beers and wine. The markets in nearby towns are worth a visit where fresh produce can be bought. The gite is on the property of the owners, Mags and Allan, who both make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive and were very helpful with advice and shopping etc. This September will be our third visit to the beach house and will certainly not be our last and would recommend a stay here to all.

Wunderschönes Haus mit allem was man braucht

Unser Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus war rundum perfekt! Die Lage nah am Strand war traumhaft, und das Restaurant „Petit Bouchou“ in der Nähe war ein kulinarisches Highlight. Das Haus war mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchte, und der Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür war sehr praktisch. Die super nette Vermieterin rundete das Ganze ab – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein wunderbares kleines Häuschen mit Terrasse

Ich habe eine wunderbar ruhige Woche, immer das Rollen des Atlantiks im Ohr, verbracht. Wunderbare Badebuchten sind in fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Man kan lange am Strand entlangwandern, dann mal auf den Felsen herumklettern. Violette und gelbe Heidebüsche laden zum Betrachten ein. Die Gastgeber, ein englisches Pensionärspaar ist offen, freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Zauberhaftes Sommerhaus an der Küste

Die Vermieterin, Margaret, war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl und haben die zwei Wochen sehr genossen. Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel eingerichtet und man kann eine grosse Terrasse und den Garten ungestört nutzen. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank, Margaret

Ein ruhiger Urlaub in einer traumhaften Umgebung

Wir wurden von der Gastgeberin Margaret herzlich empfangen. Das kleine Häuschen steht uneinsehbar in einem wunderschönen Garten. Zum Meer sind es zu Fuss wenige Minuten. Die Küche mit Waschmaschine ist komplett ausgestattet. Alles neu und sauber. Ein Geschirrspüler fehlt, hat uns aber nicht gestört. Wir können eigentlich nur das schlechte WLAN beanstanden. Wir hatten unsere eigenen Fahrräder dabei. Fahrräder mieten ist um diese Jahreszeit eher schwierig. Fahrradfahren ist hier aber sehr lohnend. Die beiden Restaurant im Ort, die uns Margaret empfohlen hat, waren spitze. Wer Ruhe und Natur liebt, ist hier richtig. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

Tolle Lage zum Strand, tolle Gegend!

Ein kleines nettes Ferienhaus mit einer guten Ausstattung. Schlafen auf einer Empore unterm Dach, wenn es nicht zu heiss ist, sehr schoen, aber fuer Leute mit Bewegungshandicap schwieriger. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Einzig das WLAN ist verbesserungswuerdig. Nochmals danke fuer einen tollen Urlaub!

Schönes Ferienhaus nahe tollem Strand

Kleines Ferienhaus im Garten der Besitzer, dennoch hat man seine Ruhe. Gute Betten oben, knarzendes Schlafsofa unten. Die Küche hat übliches Geschirr. Grill und sogar Schwimmutensilien vorhanden. Insgesamt gut geeignet, um einige Tage zu verbringen. Leider TV-Empfang (französisch, britisch) sehr häufig gestört. WLAN vorhanden aber meist ziemlich langsam. Durch Selbst-Putzen-Politik hängt die Sauberkeit an den jeweiligen Vormietern, was bei der Küche nicht an allen Stellen ausreicht.

Maison propre et belle terrasse , en bon état, agréable pour 2 personnes mais très limite pour 4;accès difficile à la chambre sous le toit par une échelle de meunier.La maison est dans le jardin des propriétaires ce qui mériterait une palissade plus importante pour éviter d’être sous leurs fenêtres.Contrairement à l’annonce pas de WI et mauvaise réception télé car la box est dans la maison des propriétaires,(en plus réseau 4g très intermittent). Vaisselle un peu juste,pas de rideaux occultants ou de volets. Maison très bien située,calme,plage et sentiers tout proches.Un peu cher au vue des inconvénients.

My family and i have lived in pleherel plage for 15 years and love the peace and tranquility and location as we have a fabulous beach right on our doorstep yet we are only a few minutes drive to all the other fabulous beaches and villages of the cap frehel peninsular. We built the gite ourselves and made it compact and comfortable to accommodate everyone's needs. There are lots of great golf courses nearby for the keen golfers. Lots of scenic walks and hyper stores if you need some retail therapy. Everyone who has stayed here has loved it and are coming back for more. We always try to make everyone feel relaxed and at home and are always on hand if you need anything.

Why they chose this property

We bought the land here in 2000 because of the location of the beach and the surrounding areas and built the gite and a house in 2006.

What makes this property unique

The gite is very peaceful and safe and very handy just to walk out the door and onto the beach, plus the restaurants are only 2 minutes walk if you don't want to drive, everything is on the doorstep. There is a trendy beach cafe and a market on Tuesday evening from 17.30 with lots of different types of food to suit everyone's taste.
