A fantastic place to stay! Really well equipped appartment and a great size. The whole complex is so clean and has a lovely relaxed vibe.Great to walk down to the old town.We hired a car- which was great for exploring different beaches and getting to the water parks.We will definitely be back!

Family Vacation

Our family of four found this apartment centrally located and a great place to spend our time in Algarve, Portugal. It is walking distance to old town Albufiera, with shops and restaurants. The resort has a nice pool area for relaxing. The home’s terrace was also a nice place to relax at the end of the day or first thing in the morning. Check in was easy, and the host was easy to contact.

Absolutely perfect home for our stay in Albufeira. We loved this space and found it very comfortable, safe, accessible to everything, and relaxing. Both bedrooms were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the suggestions for local activities and restaurants left by the host. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The complex was very convenient, with a lovely pool, a bar and snack bar, and the mini-market was a great help. Our communication with the host was always positive and helpful. We all loved it!

Fantastic Apartment

The apartment exceeded our expectations and the location is perfect. We loved sitting on the terrace before going out in the evening, the pool area is lovely and clean and not too busy. We found it an easy walk to both the old town and marina.

Perfect spot for a family break

Everything you need, great shared pool with very friendly staff working at the on-site mini mart. The property is within a small complex of similar apartments ground floor and first floor, all our neighbours were very friendly. Lovely to sit outside and eat in the evenings on the patio. On a hill which is a nice walk up from town and there are great views over the town and beach which is an advantage being higher up. Highly recommended

Family vacation

The property was beautiful and perfectly located. Everything was in walking distance and the pool was just steps away and the view from the pool area was just spectacular! Communication was great and Bertus was always quick to respond and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone.

Lovely clean apartment great location

Lovely apartment on a great complex, apartment had everything we needed and was very spacious and clean. Pool area is great nice and quiet and the views of the sea from there are lovely. Little shop and cafe onsite next to the pool which was great and the food was really nice and I can recommend their sangria. Not far from the beach and the old town. I would only suggest one thing and that is to have a hair dryer in each room as sharing one between 4 ladies took a while to Get our hair dry but not a major problem, we will definitely be returning really enjoyed our stay! thank you!

Hidden Gem

The location was a little challenging to find especially when you arrive in the dark. But once you’re there the location is quiet and comfortable. The bathrooms were modern and clean. Beautiful view at the pool.

Bertus provided excellent directions and help to assist us in finding the apartment with no problems what so ever. The apartment is situated in a quiet, family friendly complex, less than 10 minutes from the beach. We had a great time staying here and will be returning next year. Thank you

Great space for a vacation

It was very clean and very comfortable. We were able to cook meals and everything was an easy walk or uber away! Only mishap was that we broke the coffee pot bowl, so I bought a new coffee machine to replace it.

Fantastic

The apartment is a really decent size, the complex not too large, the bar is great and staff friendly. Really enjoyed this location, found that we would walk into town (down the slopes) and get a taxi back €3.50 from the town or use Uber which is a good service too. Lots of lovely restaurants and definitely worth booking a trip at the marina to go dolphin watching and a tour of of the coastline. The host at this apartment is very attentive and sorted out immediately a few issues, couldn’t fault it. Well recommended.

View from the Top

Very quiet setting on top of the hill within walking distance of the old town. Very well appointed unit although there was a black mold problem in both bedrooms which we took had to care of ourselves. The one heat pump was not adequate to keep the place warm. Explored the small towns in the Algarve as well as a side trip to Seville, Spain.

Windmill Hill August 2022

Fantastic location walkable to beach, marina and Albufeira old town, As the name suggests the complex sits at the top of a hill ok going down but quite tiring coming back. Lovely pool and bar area, very clean plenty of beds and umbrellas. The apartment was clean and comfortable with everything you need. We were initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning but it’s not required the nights are quite cool with a breeze! It is on the ground floor and we encountered a few ants around the kitchen area and dishwasher. All in all we had a fantastic holiday and would definitely visit again.

Fabulous week in Portugal

A lovely spacious apartment that is very well equipped, making it home from home. However, whilst this is not a reflection of the owner, the cleanliness of the property should have been better, and a follow up with the cleaning team is needed. I swept and hosed down the outside areas myself, and it was evident that the internal cleaning wasn’t to the best standard. The property layout is great, with split level housing and great sized rooms and the additional benefit of 2 bathrooms. The benefits of a bar/cafe and shop on site are obvious and the pool area was never too crowded. Overall it’s a nice place that needs just a little more effort to make it sparkle. We also ate at the Windmill Restaurant on site - which is a great experience and a definite must!

Holiday

The apartment was excellent on a very good site, quiet and a good pool and sunbeds always available. Facilities on site were limited and no food available after 17.50 except in the Windmill Restaurant which is very expensive. A big disappointment was the distance to walk into town and we never found a route shorter than about 20mins. We had decided not to hire a car this year but found the local taxis very convenient and relatively inexpensive. We did not use the check in process but it seems we have to rate it to send the review.
