Luxury modern ground floor spacious two bedroom, two bathroom apartment on a secure gated complex in Marbella, Costa del Sol, Spain. The apartment has a ground floor entrance from the road, but has an elevated position from the terrace, which overlooks the main pool and the gardens, with direct access to these from the garage underneath the apartment. The apartment is situated near the sea, between the golf courses of Cabopino and Santa Maria on the attractive development of La Reserva de Marbella(Phase 1). It is not part of the large Phase II development further in land. This area of the Spain is also known as the Costa del Golf, as there are some fifty courses on the Costa del Sol.
The apartment can accommodate four people and is fully furnished with good quality furniture and fittings in a traditional Spanish style with marble floors throughout. A BBQ is provided for al fresco dining. Also can be provided are beach towels at a rate of five euros per holiday per guest.

Lovely apartment with everything you need definitely need a hire car to get around. About 20 mins from Beach and Restaurants, lovely marina with bars/restaurant 's so plenty to walk to. We had a lovely 2 weeks exploring the area of Marbella.
Yes, very welcoming and all amenities were great. We especially liked the detailed listing of the sites to see while here.All directions were spot on.The unit was very comfortable a d secure.

Our family had a great stay and the condo is centrally located to the Marbella and Malaga areas. The condo was quiet, clean, and the kitchen well stocked to make meals at home. You definitely want a car to get around and the garage parking was a huge bonus instead of trying to find tight street parallel parking each night. The pool area was nice and I felt safe at this location. If you drive to the top of the new neighborhood (golf course) there is a lovely restaurant and view.
Nice property in nice development. Our host provided excellent information about the nearby restaurants. Would absolutely recommend this property to people looking to stay in the Cabopino area.
We enjoyed staying in this place, everything was available in the apartment, except vacuum cleaner. Walking distance to the beach. Safe area and nice people living in the area.
Fantastic stay, and geoff done everything to make our stay comfortable , would highly reccomend, car recommended, as is located on hill away slightly from bars etc , but still fantastic.

A great location if you plan on visiting the coastline, as accessible by car or bus. We hired a car and made use of the property's parking space.The apartment was spotless and exactly as listed. There aren't enough stars to appraise Geoff's communication! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area.Close by, there aren't too many bars and restaurants. However just a little further, the Cabopino Marina is beautiful and has some great places to eat and drink.
We had a fabulous stay and received absolutely 5 star service from the host. The apartment and pool are lovely and the little touches were very appreciated. Definitely recommend.

Great location close to Capobino Beach and multiple other beaches. Great restaurants around. I would recommend to hire a car as cheaper option than airport transfers and taxis. Underground allocated parking spot is perfect. Host is great at communicating. Apartment kitchen is fully equipped should you want to eat in some nights. Balcony catches evening sun so great to sit out and relax without always going out . WIFI good and TV an added bonus if needed.
We attended a wedding and stayed for 4 nights, the apartment was clean and very large, it had everything you need, would definitely use again, the host Geoff was very good at communicating and his information on the apartment and the area was first class!

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in La Reserva de Marbella. The owner Geoff surpassed himself with his excellent communication. Every email was answered quickly. The information sheet provided covered everything from basic info on the apartment to restaurants and places of interest in the area. The apartment was clean and well equipped for cooking. We didn’t hire a car so could say that the area is very hilly and transportation would be recommended. All in all, an excellent stay!

The only hill is the fairly short one up the last part of the road to the apartment and I regularly walk up that and I am in my early eighties.. I hope to see you again.

Our host Geoff has a lovely property that we rented for February. It suited us to the letter. Everything was as described and if there was any slightest issue, it was sorted straight away. Value for money
The property allthough a little bit dated ticked a lot of boxes for a prolong stay ,everything you needed was provided for .The pool, even late into the season was warm enough for a daily swim and was well maintained . The garage space was large and convenient and secure.
The downside was really only that it was on the wrong side of the main road so a car really is a must especially if you have any difficulty at all with steep hills

However, I must point out that the apartment is purposely furnished in a traditional Spanish style with furniture and fittings to suit that way. Also, the apartment is indeed located on a short hill, but many guests have holidayed there without using or needing a car and you can see by the many good reviews that there have been lots of satisfied customers. I am myself retired and when I am there I frequently walk to the local supermarkets without any problems as I find the exercise ideal. I know you holiday in this area most years and you would be welcome to stay again. Perhaps you could stay in my other apartment next door which is furnished in a more modern style. Thanks again. Perfect for us!
We stayed at the apartment for 5 days. It was a fantastic break for two couples. The apartment was very well equipped and the owners thought of everything towards making our stay comfortable and welcome. The apartment overlooks two pools and receives the sun until sunset. A car is preferable for this locality as it is pretty quiet however that suited us. We have informed the owners that we will be back again. Highly recommended!
Overall, very happy with apartment and location. Well equipped and comfortable. Stayed there with my sister and it was the perfect size for two. Although it had two bedrooms, think it might feel cramped for 4.
There were two slight problems: 1: couldn’t get the awning over the balcony to work which meant we were unable to use the balcony for drinks before going out for dinner as it was really hot and sunny (July, so in 30’s).
The other slight issue is that you have to take your chairs down to the pool as no chairs provided and those in the apartment were really bulky and uncomfortable.
Would still recommend the apartment but just thought I’d mention these issues as might be a problem for some.
The roads on the outside of the complex are very narrow, steep and full of parked cars. It was difficult to find the right garage especially in the dark. There is a designated parking spot in the garage of the condo. I’m not sure if I didn’t read the directions well enough but we had a very difficult time finding this in the middle of the night when we arrived on the day of checkin. GPS is not helpful with the maze of one way streets in the neighborhood. I advise to make sure you have clear directions to find the correct garage and know how to find and use the small box and key to open the garage door upon arrival and also to locate the box on the inside of the garage for when you leave the garage. The condo is cheerfully decorated and we enjoyed the balcony with the view of the Mediterranean Sea in the background . Also very pretty sunsets. We couldn’t ask for nicer weather. It’s a lovely climate.

Why they chose this property
The development is located just to the east of Marbella town and close to one of the best beaches on the coast and the lovely marina at Cabopino. There are many restaurants, beaches, bars, golf clubs, shops and amusements in the area and the famous resort and marina of Puerto Banus is within easy reach. Things to do and see in the local area include Water Sports, Water Parks, Wild Life Park, Sea Life Centre, Adventure Park, Theme Park, Butterfly Park, Crocodile Park, Zoo, Paragliding, Trampolines and Cinemas plus of course the Sea, the Beaches, beach Bars and even Shopping if you want to. Malaga airport is around thirty five minutes away by car and car hire is advised to get the very best from the holiday. A car is by far the best way to get around the area, get to and from the airport, go to the beach, sightseeing and shopping. There is however a good bus service along the main coast round which is a five minute walk away. This service goes to Marbella, Fuengirola and beyond. There are also local taxi services available. The nearest railway station is at Fuengirola with trains to AMalaga and the airport. This service does not go any further west than Fuengirola.
Malaga airport is 40 Km away, about thirty five minutes by car and car hire is advised to get the best from the holiday. The recommended company to use for car hire is DoYouSpain. The car can be collected at and returned to Malaga airport. If hiring a car it is strongly recommended you take out insurance cover with insurance4carhire as the insurance cover provided in Spain is minimal.
What makes this property unique
This part of Spain is active all year round and has a superb climate, averaging 300 days of sunshine per year, with daytime temperatures in winter often reaching 20C. The Costa del Sol is the most popular holiday destination in Spain, with it's golden-sand beaches, stunning coastline and such popular and world-renowned places like Marbella, Puerto Banus, Gibratar, Fueringola, Benalmadena, There are plenty of places to explore inland including Mijas Pueblo and Ronda and the white villages of Ojen and Monda etc. The cities of Malaga, Granada, Sevilla, Cadiz and Cordoba are not far away. You can even catch a ferry to Morocco. You will have plenty to do and see.
