We had a fantastic stay! A secluded spot which felt really private. The house and pool are beautiful. Everything was super clean and the hosts are friendly and extremely helpful! We enjoyed the BBQ and we even got to try some fresh eggs from the chickens! Thank you
Spent 3 amazing weeks at this lovely farmhouse with family and friends. The house is well-equipped and spacious and had everything we needed to feel at home. (The WIFI is surprisingly good given the remote location which was helpful as we were working for most of the stay.) Helen and Pete were great hosts - always available/responsive when needed. Could not recommend this house more and look forward to coming back one day!
villa avec superbe vue sur les montagnes, telle que sur les photos, au calme. Bon accueil de notre hote.

An amazing house and location. An unforgettable getaway.
The house in bed hills north of Malaga is incredible. Spacious and with plenty of outdoor space to lounge and enjoy the endless sunshine, while drinking wine and looking out over the valley.
My favorite memory is grilling ponchos de cerdo on the patio while my friends drank wine and scarfed down olives and pan. Watching the sunset from the pool is a close second.
Helen and Pete and their daughters and Pepa the dog all greeted me upon check in. They were friendly and hospitable. I invited them for tea one afternoon. My wife and I enjoyed visiting with them and talking about the process of restoration and life in southern Spain.
We can't recommend this place highly enough. It's an amazing getaway.

Fantastic house and pool with spectacular views
We spent two weeks here with our two children (7 and 3 yrs.) and had an amazingly relaxed vacation. The owners Helen and Pete go out of their way to make you feel welcome and enjoy your stay. They even offered doing some grocery shopping before our arrival because we arrived on a sunday and most shops were closed.
And then there is the house. It is ideally set to enjoy the quiet Andalusian country life but also just a 30 minutes drive from the hustle and bustle of Malaga. A supermarket and several restaurants are just minutes away by car in Casabermeja. The house itself is tastefully decorated and has all you could wish for. Outside are several seating areas so there is always an ideal place to sit depending on the time of day.
But for us the absolute winner is the pool area. We were surrounded by beautiful views while floating in the pool. Our kids didn't want to go back home and were very sad to leave. I'm pretty sure we'll be back a.s.a.p.

Simply divine
I am not usually compelled to writing reviews but I simply had to provide my heartfelt gratitude to Helen and her wonderful family for such a perfect stay in their very special home.
The magic begins as you drive up the mountain and approach the farmhouse surrounded by olive trees, fig trees and stunning flower- laden landscapes. For me the cherry on the cake has to be the breathtaking views of the Andalusian mountains from every angle.
The farmhouse has been lovingly restored and still holds many of its original features....stone walls and timber beams meets crisp white bed-linen and fluffy towels.
In summary, Casabermeja personifies Spanish charm at its very best and is well worth a visit!!!!

I can't wait to come back
Hi Helen, thank you for letting us stay at your delightful hacienda next to the montes de malaga natural park. We had a wonderful time. The accommodation was perfect and all needs were catered for. We were able to completely relax, sitting by the pool and looking at the views over the olive groves. When we weren't enjoying the pool, we found that we were well situated for visiting Malaga, Ronda, Sierra Nevada and Granada, which were all easily accessible. I look forward very much to staying there again. Thanks again Helen,
Laurence

Unforgettable tranquility in luxury rustic pad
EWhat a gem of a place, hidden amongst the breathtaking landscape of the Andalusian mountains. This beautifully designed but truly rustic home has been an unforgettable treat that we feel has opened up the Spanish culture in a way that goes beyond your average fun in the sun holiday experience. The mountain home that has been created here, immediately immerses you in a scenic heaven of olive and fig trees and delicate wild flora & fauna. The only sound is of distant goats and singing birds and as the sun pours itself over me I wonder if my dip in the swimming pool here in the layered garden and outside stone patios will energise me enough to pour the wine and sample the local fresh produce from the village and Malaga s ancient marketplace. This family has provided every possible kindness to insure that my stay is a relaxing and gentle cultural experience that I will never forget.....I look forward to returning to this lovingly restored finca to soak up this carefully created tonic of pure and charming rustic luxury mixed with a true love of all that is peaceful and wonderful about Spanish life.
