About this property

Cosy and stylish home, convenient location for exploring Fermanagh Lakelands

A well-equipped cosy and stylish cottage set in the peaceful village of Lisbellaw, only a 10 minute car journey or short bus ride away from the cultural market town of Enniskillen. Travel in any direction along country roads and you will arrive at Lough Erne, where you can hire a boat, go water-skiing or fishing. If you're feeling energetic, climb nearby Topped Mountain and enjoy the stunning views. The National Trust properties of Castle Coole, Florencecourt and Crom Estate are near at hand and well worth a visit. Marble Arch caves and Geo Park with Cuilcagh Mountain are also close by, and beautiful Donegal beaches are only an hour's drive away. If the weather is chilly, stay in and enjoy the warmth and home comfort offered by the Aga, oil-fired central heating or open log fire. On sunny days the rear garden is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a barbecue. The cottage offers character with modern comforts- downstairs there are two bedrooms: one double and one single, a bathroom and shower room. Upstairs in the converted attic, there is an additional twin bedroom with separate toilet and wash hand basin. It would suit families or couples alike, with private parking and a safe and secure rear garden. Free wifi is included.

A new friend
First of all I want to give Margaret some praise. She is very sweet, kind, and caring. She welcomed us in and made sure she saw us to say goodbye and a wish us safe travels home. Her home, which was her sister's, is very cosy. Very accommodationing and very charming. Wow, I really loved the cooker. I wish we could have one back in the states. The beds were very comfortable and all three of us melted in our beds for a good night's sleep after a lovely day of exploring around. The house is a short walk away from shops and restaurants. Lisabellaw is a charming town as well and everyone we came across were very friendly just like Margaret. I forgot to meantion that when we arrived, Margaret had filled the kettle for tea and showed us how to use the cooker and gave us the grand tour of the home. She made pancakes as well to have with our tea. We loved our stay and love Margaret.
