Relaxing Provence retreat - hike, bike or just drink wine in the sun
The Tilleul apartment is one of our three gites set in the village of Villes-sur-Auzon. The apartments are self catering with fully equipped kitchen, living/dining area, separate bedroom with queen size bed and shower room. There is a sunny balcony/terrace and off street parking. The village is ideally located, sheltered in a sunny spot, protected by mountains. Mont Ventoux at the north, is famous for cyclists but also has nice hiking trails. To the east are the Nesque Gorges, again a beautiful area to cycle or hike. To the south and west is the beautiful wine country with quiet lanes for cycling through vineyards to the wineries.
The village has several restaurants, a bar and a cafe. There is also a bakery, 2 grocery stores and a variety of shops, library, communal tennis courts and swimming pool. There is a village winery across the road, where guests enjoy a 10% discount.
