We listen to our guests and implement what they suggest. So what is new this year IN 2025 quite a lot BUT NO PRICE INCREASE.
The House now incorporates a two bedroom flat;
so we now sleep 30 guests.
There are 9 shower rooms (4 en suite)
Three kitchens with induction ceramic hobs
Three dish washers, 4 fridges , freezer and chest freezer, washing machine.
Three lounges , dining room, breakfast bars.
BUT still the famous ' Boogy' Room with Karaoke


SO....
.... you can continue to Holiday in style at this carefully renovated house, giving a mix of modern and traditional for your comfort and also in keeping with the Listed Grade A historic mansion house; which was designed and built by the world famous Thomas Telford. (203 years old this year!
The house is superbly suited for family holidays or occasions be it wedding parties or to celebrate a special birthday. The house is full of character and luxuriously finished to ensure an enjoyable holiday whether for a short break or longer and is a superb base for a family holiday and ideal touring location.

The host's met us at property with a full informative tour of property.The size of this property is fantastic with every single thing you could ever need provided.Despite our stay being at the end of November the house was warm and cosy. The large kitchen dining room was an amazing space for everyone to get together.The host's offered an amazing welcome pack which honestly was outstanding and such a thoughtful thing to do. Held a hen party for 23 and it was the perfect home for it. We all had a fabulous weekend and cannot speak highly enough of the hosts. Very responsive to queries prior to the weekend, as well as providing an obscene amount of snacks and fizz on arrival. Highly recommend.

There was a large group of us for a 70th Birthday. On arrival the house was amazing and only got better over the weekend. Plenty of space, boogie room and karaoke was so much fun. Lounge big enough to accommodate us all for games. Will definitely be back

Golden Wedding Family Celebration

A beautiful house with very welcoming hosts. Lovely setting, and easily big enough for 16 adults with four children and three dogs. A wonderful place for a celebration.

Superb family trip

This property was everything we needed and more. Our group of 25 loved every minute of our stay and at no point were we on top of each other, the pictures do not reflect the sheer size and space inside this wonderful house and would happily recommend to anyone wanting a large family gathering. The host was lovely and friendly from speaking on the phone to arrange check in and then getting a full tour when we arrived, the welcome hamper that was left for us was such a welcome suprise and a touch everyone was grateful for. We will most certainly be booking another weekend stay here

Fantastic stay!

A group of us stayed here for our annual get together and it was great. House was clean and warm. Plenty of cooking facilities with 2 kitchens and both well equipped. Welcome pack left from the owners was amazing! Lots of lovely treats and they even got all the kids Easter eggs because we stayed Easter weekend. Owners were lovely and went over and above for us. Lovely house. Chris is lovely. Moffat is really nice. Wish there was a book about the house though and that the windows could open. It was just what we wanted in a holiday home though. Great.
