Relaxing week away
The property was just like home from home, had all that you needed to make a break away into an amazing holiday. Location was perfect for visiting lots of wonderful places and the view from the cottage was a delight.
Great house, well situated for touring around. Northumberland is beautiful.
The property was great ,very clean, very quiet, just what we were looking for and Michael your property didn't dissapoint.
Excellent property and location
The property was very well appointed, clean and well equipped. It’s location was great for exploring all the local attractions. It is very near the A1 so easy to go places but set back far enough that the traffic noise wasn’t a problem. Highly recommend
Good beaches good walks and castles !
Had a really nice stay . The house is close to the A1 which may put some off but made it really easy to explore. The house is well equipped and very clean with a decent size fully secure back garden. Places we walked included Seahouses to Beadnell, the Craster arms in Beadnell serves excellent food. Craster to Embleton including Dunstanburgh castle. Good food at the jolly fisherman at Craster. Holy Island, Bamburgh round to Budle Bay and Alnmouth we’re there was a great pub with views onto the river. The Barn at Beal is about 5 min drive from the house on the way to holy island and does fabulous food at really reasonable prices...try the lobster! We took our two dogs who were welcomed everywhere. The area is very dog friendly and the beaches and country side are ideal. We took a walking book with us . There aren’t any at the house.
All in all a good base for exploring with a local dog friendly pub that serves food within 2 mins walk (lindersfarm inn).
Good base for the Borders
Comfortable and value for money Great view of Holy Island
All appliances very good
Great holiday home in beautiful Northumberland
From the very first moment I liked this house. Everything is perfect! It's beautifully furnished, lovely colours of wallpaper and furniture that match perfectly. The kitchen is big and I enjoyed cooking there. The bedrooms are cosy and the beds are comfortable. It is very quiet, even though the A1 isn't far away. From this holiday home it's easy to get anywhere in a short time. The Cheviot mountains are easy to reach, Northumberland National Park is worth going more than once, and it's even fast to get to Scotland or the Border Country. There is plenty to see and do and this cottage is ideal. We stayed for three weeks, but I could have stayed much longer. Home from home, even with a garden!
