A little paradise at the gateway to the Ardèche.

A haven of peace between the Cévennes and the gorges of the Ardèche. The house is located 5 km from the medieval village of Barjac and 20 minutes from Vallon Pont D'arc. Ideal for spending a peaceful holiday, while being close to the lively villages of Ardèche and Gard.
Away from civilization, you can rest by the saltwater swimming pool (10m / 4m secure) with shower and outdoor toilet, surrounded by hills planted with trees not overlooked.
Just 10 minutes by bike, by a path that leaves from the house you can access one of the last isolated beaches of the Cèze (photo attached).
The house has air conditioning, 4 bedrooms (3 beds of 160 and 1 of 180), 2 bathrooms, 2 WCs, an equipped kitchen open to a large living room of 35 m2, 2 shaded terraces and a plot of 2000m2.
Towels, bath towels and sheets are provided.
Cleaning is included.

Wonderful relaxing place

Lovely house and swimming pool with peaceful grounds and surroundings. Very calm and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and Karine the host was very helpful. We would definitely come back.

The most amazing 2 weeks!

We have just returned home after an amazing two weeks in this beautiful villa. Everything exactly as described, super clean, perfect for the full family including 2 dogs. The host maintained excellent communication with clear check in instructions plus other advice on local activities. The house and pool were just fabulous - there was everything we could possibly need from pool towels, washing machine, outdoor grill area, poolside toilet and shower and air conditioning which we were very thankful for. The pool area and garden was 100% secure so ideal for families with young children and pets. Would highly recommend this villa and host.

Excellent family holiday

A beautiful spot, great pool and comfortable house. Everything you could need was there including a great BBQ. Location was really peaceful and secluded and lots to do nearby including the fantastic market in Barjac. Air con was a blessing in the heat. Highly recommend.

Most wonderful property, perfect location

We had the most wonderful two weeks here with the perfect property, pool, gardens and beautiful surroundings. The house was clean, very well set up, AC and wonderful showers. Kitchen well equipped with everything you need and great bbq too. The pool is the perfect size and enclosed garden wonderful for our dog. There is lots to do in the surrounding area with lovely villages and towns and Barjac has a great Friday morning market, wonderful bakers and lovely restaurants and bars. So many water activities and wild swimming in the area too. Karine was the perfect host and we couldn’t have asked for more. Really hope to return - a beautiful spot, quiet haven and ideal pool with opportunities to do as much or as little as you’d like on your holiday. Couldn’t ask for more.

Super relaxing - amazing stay

We had the most relaxing stay at this lovely villa. We were a family of 8 across three generations. The setting is delightful. Down a cobbled road just outside a little hamlet, yet 6mins drive to the lovely village of Barjac which has a wonderful boulangerie, ice cream shop, cafes and a great little supermarket with fabulous fresh meat. The highlight was the walk to the river (under 2k from the house down a cobbled lane - walk in 30ish mins or take the bikes for extra fun. The river is truly magical. We spent many an hour here skimming stones, building a dam, swimming in the water. Magical. The villa has absolutely everything you would need which makes it a perfect home from home. We would throw up the windows and eat alfresco every night. It was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Lots of dining options in Barjac and we tried a restaurant twice - super friendly with our pigeon french! The pool was perfect. Only annoyance was the wasps that came out in the afternoon my son got stung a couple of times, but that’s something you have to live with at that time of year (end of Aug). Bring some mozzie coils or get some at the supermarket. Communications were responsive and helpful. Can’t speak highly enough of this property and we will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Très jolie maison au calme

Nous avons passés deux semaines en famille dans le logement de Karine. La maison est exactement comme sur l’annonce. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine et la climatisation durant la semaine de canicule :)Les villages des environs sont charmants et il y’a pleins d’activités à faire avec les enfants.La propriétaire est une personne très sympathique et à disposition si besoin. Wir haben einen sehr schönen Urlaub in einem sehr ruhig gelegenen, schönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Pool ist herrlich, mit Salzwasser befüllt und sehr gepflegt. Die Vermieterin ist eine äußerst freundliche und sehr hilfsbereite Dame, zu der wir einen guten Kontakt hatten und die sich immer nach unserem Wohlbefinden erkundigt hat. Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Schönes Haus mit traumhafter Terasse

Wir haben 2 Wochen Familienurlaub genossen. Ausfüge in die Camargue, nach Avignon, Nimes und natürlich Paddeln auf der Ardeche. Tolle Ausgangsbasis und trotzdem kann man die Ruhe der Einsamkeit auf dem Naturgrundstück genießen. Schmetterlinge, Eidechsen, Schnecken und ein kleines Reh haben uns besucht.

Excellent endroit pour se reposer

La maison est exactement comme décrite sur l’annonce. La piscine a été très appréciée avec le chant des cigales, endroit très calme et reposant. Des balades à faire sans prendre la voiture c’est très agréable. La maison rien à dire, tout est parfait, la climatisation très appréciée. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour de 2 semaines.

Traumhaftes Anwesen

Wir, meine Frau und unser Hund Benji haben eine wundervolle Zeit in diesem schönen und ruhigen Anwesen verbracht. Das Haus ist stillvoll eingerichtet, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht, der Pool ist sehr sauber und auf 27-28°C schön warm beheizt. Die Umgebung war für uns genau das richtige, die ganze Zeit ruhig, wundervolle kleine Städte zum Essen und Bummeln alles was man braucht um einen erholsamen Urlaub zu verbringen. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder.
