Hello, we are Els and Stijn, a Belgian couple, who love traveling, sports (especially parapents, climbing and hiking), doing terraces and enjoying the beautiful scenery. This led us to Millau and the beautiful surroundings. We hope you, like us, can enjoy this region, which has a lot to offer.
Owner purchased this House in 2016
Why Owner chose Castelnau-Pégayrols
Maison Clementine, an adventurous and romantic story. Every year in October we celebrate our wedding anniversary with a trip, so-called 'wedding alphabet': antique hunting in Amsterdam, brunch in Brussels and in 2016 it was at the 'C'. Coupe Clementine in Corsica (For the lay: a small paragliding festival on the island). Coincidence made us return home via the Aveyron and discover the beautiful village of Castelnau - Pegayrols. We immediately fell in love with the village and the charming house. As this fitted our alphabet, we could not let it down.

Lovely home in great village
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed home - the decor is far and above what you see in most rental properties and the surrounding area is amazing!
Our 7 day stay in Maison Clementine in Aug 2018. Lovely quiet and historic.
This spacious, well equipped gite was ideally situated inside the medieval walls of Castelnau-Pegayrols. Full of historical features and homely, personal touches and yet very tastefully modernised.
Of note Castelnau-pegayrols is very charming but remote, without a shop within 10km. Planning for essential provisions such as wine and milk on arrival is advised!
We had a wonderful time and would recommend this as a peaceful and relaxing escape.
Great opportunity to stay in a medieval house
This was one of the most charming and interesting rentals we've ever stayed in. Not often do you get a chance to stay in a place built hundreds of years ago. Very nicely decorated and well equipped. Have to watch out for low ceilings and beams in some areas. There was no wifi (as per ad) and the only place to get a decent 3G connection was at one window. Slightly inconvenient however if you're there on vacation it's a perfect place to disconnect. Owner is very responsive.
